Went to Guy Fieris in Linq to cool down and see what my friend was doing plus I hadn’t eaten all day.

Their playlist has got some BANGERS from the mid 00s

Sweet run on VP. I love the Bloody Mary at Guy Fieris as well as the trash can nachos. Sucks about the issues at Planet Hollywood.

Guy's rocks dude. I don't care who you are - huge portions, fun food. I miss their breakfast menu, they had this mixed berry French toast thing that was fuckin incredible.

Any chance the floor in either or both of these instances was a bald guy named Terence or Justin? If so, you might end up on a podcast.

So last night I met up with my friend at Cromwell after I lost my shirt on DJ Wild to the tune of $1000. I love that game but it's a cruel mistress. You either win or lose with the way I play with all the bonus bets. But these are the only tables I know about in the world so I play them pretty hard.

At Cromwell we went to Giada to use my celebration dinner. I had some wine and a negroni. We split the meatballs, the branzino, and some pasta plus vanilla marscapone gelato and raspberry chamomile sorbet.

I rate it a 3 out of 5. The meatballs were cold. The branzino was excellent and wicked hot. The pasta was cold and not cooked all the way through but still good. The gelato was just OK.

I don't remember Giada being that bad but it's been years for me. Ah well. It was the celebration dinner.

After dinner, I needed to show my friend the wonderful world of Stage Door and Ellis Island because he's never heard of them before. He also didn't know about Tupac dying on that corner by Ellis Island so he wanted to see the makeshift memorial. It was 25 years ago this month.

My phone died somewhere in Ellis Island so I didn't get any pics after the Tupac memorial. I taught him some craps and we were up big before losing back to even for the both of us. But it was a great time. They took a out a majority of the tables in Ellis Island since the last time I was there.

Today the rest of the boys start arriving and the one that's here will be done with working his conference so the shenanigans are really gonna begin.

So gotta shower and head down to see what back end comps I can get from PH. Curious what they say. I didn't spend that much and did a bunch of play so hopefully they take everything off.

After that we head to Delano! By the way the app fucks up your 2 bedroom suite and makes it two separate rooms. I called the front desk and they said yea the app is weird and can't handle that specific room type. So just a warning to anyone thinking about this 2 bedroom suite at the Delano and using the app.

man i'm so bummed about the change in vibe at PH. from the jacked up minimums and shittier rules to the less friendly dealers - it was just overall not the experience i was used to there - and it looks like things are only getting worse.

it's as if ElDo figured out they had one of the most underappreciated properties in town and decided that they'd rather just run it into the ground instead.

    fuck it pisses me off.

I cancelled our reservations for Giada's. At what they are charging they can give you bread and a window seat without an upcharge. Talk about bullshit.

    So before the Delano pics.

PH comped 90% of it all excluding the tips of course. Said if I had a normal room I would've gotten it all. Also finding a host a PH took 45min and me asking 6 people and finally someone knowing the cellphone of the host. She showed up outta nowhere in 30sec.

Jesus christ. I won't find myself going back there for a long while.

So I am potentially taking the biggest gamble of them all.

There is a laundry pick up and drop off service that I found via this board. They pick up, wash and fold to 28 pounds then deliver back to you for $30. Same day service. Though I found out the hard way the cutoff is noon to be guaranteed same day.

So I'm dropping off nearly all my clothes and if I don't get them back I am SCREWED lol
