It took years to reach that high.

Yeah the last $22k took about 7 months. Considering how the last max bet looked, it looks to be a 0.5% meter. To go from $5k to $102,225.59 at that rate would require $19.45M coin-in or 3,111,219 max bets. If everyone max bet, the odds of it getting this high before hitting would roughly be (649,739/649,740)^3,111,219 = 1 in 163.4.

I shoulda played it last month dammit. Lol

What exactly did he hit to trigger a $100k+ progressive on a quarter machine? Sequential Royal? Dealt Royal? Particular suit?

I played it frequently a couple of weeks ago; @Gaggles told me about it. @macker played the machine two over shortly before it hit. Sure would have been exciting to have a VMBer hit it.

A Royal Flush on every hand. It doesn't even have to be dealt technically. But getting dealt 4 to a royal and converting all 5 draws is nearly impossible.

Thank you. Yeah I'd imagine drawing 1 more to a royal 5 times looks like Powerball odds.

Yeah and when you factor in the odds of getting dealt 4 to a Royal to start it's very rare. Probably has never happened in actual play. The overall odds say it would happen once in every 1 in 636.8 billion deals on average. The dealt royal is nearly 1 million times easier at 1 in 649,740.

Getting dealt none to a royal and converting all 5 draws would be slightly more nearly impossible but just as effective

WOW! Nice win. I also helped build that pot a bit on my stay there in April.

Yeah, the Powerball jackpot is definitely much easier to hit.

The probability of winning the Powerball is 1/292201338 and drawing the fifth card to the royal five times in a row is 1/229345007. As Tring mentioned, the likelihood of the five royals is greatly reduced when factoring in being dealt the first 4.

I think that your probability of that happening is MUCH better than those other outcomes. Let's go with 1/100000 for starters.

I'm sure your odds would improve if you won Powerball
