    My Trip Report

Am going to try a live trip report as I have loved reading all the other recent ones.
So we set off tomorrow from UK, am just finishing my packing now and looking for diversions hence this.
We is my mum and I, this must be about our 6th trip to Vegas together.
Ideal really, my husband has a horror of casino's, gambling and poker so thats my excuse. As for my father well think we would lose him on the first morning and he would be spent up by lunchtime as he does like a slot machine and that would drive mother nuts!

Only plans at this point are to play a couple of poker :poker: tournaments, try and see Lionel Richie, meet up with the other VMBers on Sunday at Cosmo and try and win a few bob.

Early start here so night all and catch up tomorrow.

Good luck and safe travels! I will be following along as I'm in my normal post-Vegas hangover blues stage of existence.

image.jpg Arrived, nice flight, bumped into some guys we know from one of the local casinos as we boarded, and a few others as we went through passport control.
Arrived in hotel room by 2:30, not bad considering we landed an hour before.
Have been to get water from CVS, now looking out at the view - not the best but 25th floor and the casino is like a ghost town, thinking a wander to NYNY will be required later. What are those yellow buildings?

Where are you staying? You’ve probably said earlier but I forget. It’s late here back in Blighty.

    Have a great time. xx

So what type of room did you end up with at Park? We had one that was facing TMobile.

We have a green queen overlooking pool and Aria.
So far just played the face up Pai gow, no financial disasters so far and out by the pool just now.
Primrose is great for breakfast even though not the cheapest. Think we have some F&B credit to use and some one else said guests are getting $100 credit for ongoing disruption so will go check that out

3CD1BF89-047C-47E0-9C1F-B8EBCB7B7371.jpeg So the first day was good, we got an Uber to the The Orleans for their Friday night poker tourney,?it started at 7 and there were 128 buyins. I was knocked after about 2.5 hrs but mother made the money and finished about 2.30am
Amazingly I didn’t lose my dollars having to amuse myself for hours waiting. No Mississippi stud or high hand flush tables, they disappeared since we were last here in April but Paigow and Ultimate Texas holdem were kind to me. Massive casino with lots of gaming, cheap table minimums $5 and lots of eating choices. We just had pizza from Sberro during the tourney breaks.
Now waiting for the Poker Queen to wake so we can go get food. Tonight I have my date with Lionel Richie and suspect mother will be wanting to Uber back to The Orleans for the bounty Holdem tourney tonight as she won this one on our last trip.

Well forgot to update since Saturday, Lionel Ritchie was great, much better than I was expecting so came back to the Park fizzing. The time change caught up with mother so she had an early night.
We did the big bus tour on Sunday morning with the intention of spending some time downtown but the sun was shining and it was relaxing just looking at old and ne wall the way round.
Should have done a second circuit! We got off at Excalibur to walk back to the Park but of course we had to try some table games - one very expensive afternoon
Yesterday we tried the Aria comp, no cash for either of us so we spent the evening at NYNY til late, met some lovely folks and continued to donate to Donald's economy.
Had a morning outside but it's gone cool so off to the shops

Supposed to move to Aria tomorrow but checked the Mlife offers and cancelled, spending last 4 nights at Mirage now, mother has more free play. Resort comps and no fees so that's a win

IMG_3460.JPG Don't know why people complain about the new pool area, apart from lack of sun it's nicer, loungers no longer stacked so you have to crawl from the bottom to get on. This is the smaller pool and jacuzzi near the entrance

People who enjoyed lazy rivers and wave pools are disappointed. You can get the current ParkMGM pool experience at most casinos now.
