As soon as I read #2 I already guessed #1 without scrolling further.

I am a stubborn old guy and refuse to whitelist any site with my Ad Block Plus, so I can't see the list, but I'm sure they are all Strip properties.

The main criterion seems to be: Do they have tables and slots?

It's not empirical, it can't be, so it's just so much fodder for chatter. So have fun with it. I certainly isn't going to dictate fortunes won or lost or sway savvy VMBers.

The D is of no use to someone who doesn't like downtown, and I might put M on the top because it tags the bases that are important to us: Top-tier rooms, food and spa, good gambling options (VP we'd actually play), great bars, it is open and clean with good air quality, and it easily accessible when we cruise in and while we prefer Summerlin there is plenty of other stuff we like down that way in Henderson.

    Wrong...the D is #1 and the Golden Nugget #3.

Unbelievable. I am convinced that these 'polls' are rigged by the companies asking employees to go vote.

Like certain, well, you know? ;)

They don't have to be "rigged." We wouldn't agree on such a list here and we're all supposedly Vegas brainiacs. John Q ...

Actually, the D, The STRAT , and the GN, I can believe. They give value and probably attract more fans than those on the main Strip that people are tired of getting nickel-dimed by.

Why the Ellis Island snub? What's wrong with these pollsters?

Haha good old USA Today. The paper of hotel breakfast. I don't really like gambling in any of the casinos listed except the top 2... I haven't been in the Strat in several years though, but, have had some fun there.

Certain? No? But ask 100 people random non Vegas residents which is their favorite casino in Vegas and I bet the Strat is not second on that list. If you want to argue that the fans of the D and Strat are more loyal and thus more likely to go vote, that might be possible.

Those Casino Player/Strictly Slots surveys, now those were McHa$$ah'$ shills.

As for the nickel/dime lament, that's evergreen here and it's obviously not affecting those not as savvy as all of us.

The Strat is pretty up and re-coming. They did well with the remodel thus far. Many probably have an older impression of it. I highly recommend everyone who hasn't been in awhile go check it out. Stay if you can too. Great rates!

I was a fan of Fellini's there. (But it's long gone, right?)
