    My Trip Report

Well, as soon as I can finish up with a customer and pick up my son from school, I should be on my way to Lake Tahoe

My current CET status is that I'm four 9500TC trips away from renewing 7*. I have 5 trips scheduled.

My primary goal this trip is to earn 9500TC this weekend (one 2500TC day and one 1000TC day). The promotion is 3000TC for a season long ski pass (for my BFF). He has already compensated me for this task.

By my account, I will have about $2000 in promo chips to use for "chip conversion", and the plan is to go down early Saturday morning and sit at a 3:2 Blackjack table and "flat bet" at $50-$100 a hand (haven't decided the bet level yet). Rycelover is trying to convince me to try 1326 at $50 a hand.

Once all the promo chips are gone, I will cash out and start the days slot play. Reno is an option, and I have about $1200 in promo chips for Reno, but since I'm staying there on Thanksgiving, I won't drive up there unless I have really horrible luck and need to do "chip conversion". I'm trying to do this with as little (of my own) cash outlay as possible.

Of course, the secondary goal is to win $$$. Food is taken care of, I have $60 in food credit some food credit at Hard Rock Casino (across the street) and $376 in RCs on my card.

The weather forecast is partly cloudy, but in the 50s-60s Saturday and Sunday.

Hope to have some Slot Porn to post, but you know how that goes. I just want to "escape" at <$1 per TC. (including promo chips). Should be doable.

Well, no slot porn. Sat at a Wonder 4 Jackpot machine, but no luck in getting anything but standard free games.

Got my 1004 TC, cost me about $1000, but tomorrow is the "serious gambling. I'm starting with $2000 in promo chips, Gotta make a 2500TC day, with 2000 at Harrahs Lake Tahoe and Harvey's.

Tonight's sleep will be peppered with "1326 or flat bet? $50, $75, or $100". I'm hoping for better luck tomorrow.

Good luck my friend. Don’t be too stressed about 1326; play what you’re comfortable with. A friend who was in NOLA with me last month tried for the first time and found some success. It’s nothing but a money management system. No guarantees and we are still at the mercy of variance.

Hope you have a great trip!

Well, I didn't do too badly. It's 10AM and I am effectively "done" for this trip. Haven't even eaten breakfast yet.

I have achieved the 3000TC needed for the ski pass, and I'm about 250TC short of a 2500TC day, so the 9500TC trip has effectively been "made".

Lots of slot porn, no hand pays, but an $800 jackpot on a 5 way dollar Double Blazing 7's machine. The only cable I have for the phone is in the car, so I'm going up to Reno to collect promo chips and put in a little "time", maybe eat at the buffet for lunch.

So, the chip conversion went like this . . . . I started out using 1326, but when I got as far as 6, I "couldn't" put out the $300. It's just as good, because that was the start of a 9 hand losing streak. I ended up converting $1935 in Promo chips to $1775 in "hard cash". Went over to Harvey's and put in 200TC over there, and then back to Harrahs. I made back some of my losses from last night. So far my 9500TC trip has only "cost" me about $5 or 6 hundred.

I will post again after I get back from Reno for lunch.

OK, so here are the details with pictures.

Here's what I brought with me plus what I got last night , $1710 in Promo chips. I decided I wanted to be closer to $2000 to start the chip conversion, so I converted 312 In RCs to $250 in promo chips. I turned that into $1775 in "real money".

Took it over to the slots to start earning TCs towards 3000TC for the ski pass. It is a season pass to Tahoe ski resorts such as Heavenly, Northstar, and Kirkwood.

    6:49AM, Wonder 4 Tower,

    upload_2017-10-21_13-59-14.png

    Moved over to Buffalo Grand

    Hit 5 Buffalos x 24 twice $360.00

    5buffalosx24_2.jpg

    Hit 5 Aces x 80 ways for $320

    5Acesx80_320.jpg

At this point, I'm up about $900, so I've almost made up last nights losses, and I decided to go across the street to Harvey's to give them a little play.

I went to the Higl Limit slot pit and played a 9 line $1 machine, and $1 and $2 a line.

    Hit this little gem

    upload_2017-10-21_14-8-33.png
On my way out of the High limit pit, I Played a $5 TDouble Top Dollar, and in the first pull, got the bonus!!

    upload_2017-10-21_14-9-51.png

Not a lot of love on the first three offers, but on the fourth (and final) offer I was offered 30 coins. A quick $135.

Went over to the Wonder 4 Tower, and got 5 chalices x 4 for $500.00

upload_2017-10-21_14-12-34.png , and once again, my stubbornneds

So, I put in 200TC at Harvey's. A nice round number to remember. I went back over to Harrah's, where my "stubbornness" nearly cost me all I was up.

I walked to the "other" side of Harrahs and played Double Blazin' 7s. a 5 line $1 machine, and about four spins in, I hit

    upload_2017-10-21_14-21-7.png

    For $800.

Continued on to A Dragon Princess (I don't know the exact name. I'll get it next time I'm downstairs.

I finally got one of the bigger jackpots. $250.00

    upload_2017-10-21_14-22-38.png

Walked back over to the south end of the casino and sat down at a Simpsons machine and played the $6.00 "better payouts in the bonus game" (fish money), well, I'm sure that it does if you hit the bonus game. I soon found myself down $600 with no bonuses to be had. Mad at myself and ready to get up and go, I got one of the random "mystery bonuses", and it did pay well, about $500.00, a thrid spin later, I got another Mystery Bonus that paid enough to make me even on the Simpsons machine.

I then decided to go to another machine, Wonder 4 Jackpot, and once again, "stubbornness" almost cost me.

    upload_2017-10-21_14-23-14.png

The Grand Jackpot was (and still is) maxed out on this machine at $4999.99. The largest of the mini jackpots was Timber Wolf at $330.00. I consider the jackpots "ready to be hit" at $250.00, and to see one at $300.00 is very unusual. So what did I do?? I sat down and dumped the $600 that I got back from The Simpsons into playing Two Buffalo Gold and two Timber Wolf games. If I wasn't still collecting TC for the ski pass, I would've been really pissed. Finally, I did get the bonus and the super games paid me back about $600.

By now, I've completed the ski pass event, and I'm about 300TC away from my 2500TC day, so I decided to drive up ro Reno to get promo chips, eat lunch, and play "a little". I put money in the safe, and went to Reno with very little cash, because I have a marker line up there if I needed it.

More about Reno in the next update. At this point, I am down about $500 for the trip, not including chip conversion.

Went to Reno. They have completed the 580 connection to E-50 in Carson City. No need to drive through Carson City any more getting from Reno to Tahoe.

Picked up $120 in promo chips, lost about $400 to make 180TC. Had lunch at the buffet. The comp was $65 and the lunch only $18.99, so the cashier "insisted" that I take two bottles of wine. OK, two more "cheap gifts" to donation to the Silver Striker raffle in January.

Lunch at the Harrahs buffet was "life sustaining".

The did have prime rib, which wasn't at all bad.

Came back to lake Tahoe. I am currently 250TC short of my 2500TC day, dollar-wise, I am about $1000 up after chip conversion. In my accounting system, free play/promotional chips don't count until they become real cash. So the $2900 FP that I will have for next trip is essentially $0 cash until I "chip convert".

Dinner will be at Sushi Kai. I will have completed all of my objectives by dinner time, so I could actually drive back if I wanted to. We'll see.

And, an epilogue . . . this is why I always advise against 5000TC days. In this case, the last 250TCs I needed to make 2500TCs cost be close to $3.00/TC. Ouch. SO, as disappointed as I was, and not wanting to spend any more $$$, I left and came home, after getting a nice sushi dinner at Sushi Kai. Pics tomorrow. That drive back has me beat.

I accomplished all my objectives. only 3 more 9500TC trips to renew 7*

Is the ski pass promo available to everyone and will it still be available when I'm there in early November?

Nice report. We hit a couple 5,000 point trips there a couple years ago and it is a long push. However we hit 2 $4k royals and to top it off Shell hit Aces and a kicker went to a Joker Wild poker and was dealt 5 oak. I agree 2500 is usually way more than enough. Loved the pictures of your hits.................Rick
