My gluttony knows no bounds! Pumpkin bread pudding with eggnog gelato. Coffee. Sambuca for pops.
A first for me...back-to-back jacks!
I'm enjoying the show here, @thecarve, but...
Be sure to save at least a couple dollars for Team @ardee!
Have you checked your suitcase? I heard Badger gave you a little going away treat...
Seriously, have a BLAST handful, and handful senior!
As long as they steer clear of Cosmo there will be plenty left for them. And I dropped a grand at palazzo before dinner.
This also happened since we’ve been talking. Lol.
Well, I’ve called it a night. I’m up in the room enjoying one last cocktail and fountain show.
This was (in most ways) far too short of a trip. Too much travel for 48 hours of fun, too little time hanging with the old man, way too many things I didn’t get to do (and way too much food I didn’t get to eat! ). But, as always, it was a lot of fun. And let’s face it, there’s no way my ridiculous luck could have held up much longer.
I’ll wrap this up in the next few days and try to add any thoughts or relevant pics I might have neglected to post along the way. Thanks for following along and for all the kind words. And if I don’t talk to you until then, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Great trip report. Many thanks.
You made me want to accelerate our 53 day countdown. I gamble, but I’m all about the food in Las Vegas-your pics were great. I showed Mrs. Johnny the Carnevino “rib eye for two.” She asked, “Two what? Football teams?” Made me smile.
We consider Carnevino and SW to be about equal and we don’t mind walking next door to eat at Carnevino (we also like to make a turn into Grimaldi’s). We tend to favor SW because we’re usually comped, so the “free” part factors in. We do not stay or play at Palazzo, so we have zero status or perks on that side of the street. Looks to us like you made superior restaurant choices!
I’m a ‘senior’ with a not so good family history of high blood pressure, so I’m disciplined about food, weight and exercise at home. There are no rules in Vegas. For us, Las Vegas is a food paradise-we eat whatever we want and as much as we want-then back home to chicken and vegetables. Sigh.
I’m interested in your opinion about the Wynn buffet vs. the Wicked Spoon?
Thanks again for the report.
Thanks for the TR! Great string of luck.
Great trip report, and great pics! I am glad you enjoyed your trip too!
Great report buddy! Awesome hits and very special, even though time was limited, to be able to spend it with your dad
Holy cow!!! Steak looks perfect!!! Great TR and awesome pics thanks @thecarve
Wow, your ribeye was almost as big as your $20k royal. Great TR. I'm always more interested in these types as they are a little less standard since most of the posters here are in the low-roller group. I like to play $1 VP and it makes me feel gross when I go on a bad run. I can't imagine ever playing $5.
What an amazing run!
Royal in 4 hands, what?!?!
10X quad on DSTP
Dealt 2-4s w/kicker
And Back to Back quads?!?!
Great hits all around! Congrats!
My male cat will shit in my shower when he sees me get suitcases out. Never does it any other time but it pusses me off. I have to keep the doors to bathrooms closed if I need to pack and am going out of town. Lol Is this your cats way of letting you know they don’t like your travel plans too?
Wow! You had the Midas touch on those video poker machines! Congratulations and I wish I had a tenth of that mojo you unleashed on Vegas! I love Carnevino as they really age their steaks well and I’m a big fan of the ribeye. The bread pudding looked fantastic as well! Really nice to see those wins as my gambling sessions have been absolutely terrible the last several trips. Thanks for such a great report and have a Happy Thanksgiving thecarve!
Got a lot done in a short time, well f’ing done!!!
Great TR, I'm just sorry it was such a short trip for you and your dad.
Dude. You know this means there is no excuse for meeting up
for dinner at drinks at some point soon.
Congrats on your wins and so happy you got to have a trip with your Pop.
Hope Badger isn't too mad at you.
You still managed to do a lot in that 48 hours. Great report!
