You gotta love the no-brainers!
Okay. Now you're just showing off.
Love trips like these.....keep the wins coming!
Holy hell. So you're the one who wins all the money I give to Vegas...
You're killing it!! Keep it up!
Holy shit @thecarve - you're on fire!
This is awesome, keep it up and good luck!
If you don't mind me asking - what do you normally drop in these machines (say the $5 denom) when you begin playing?
Having to wake up yesterday morning at around midnight Vegas time caught up with us. Dad crashed shortly after dinner and I was up in the room in time to catch the last fountain show of the evening at midnight.
Not much exciting happened after my no-brainer quad. A few decent multipliers and garden variety quads...but mostly I just slowly but surly gave back some of my winnings. Still up big though so no complaints!
A few more things about the new Cosmo rooms: I think the mattress is new. And while my back really appreciates the firmness of it, the pillow top part isn’t all that comfortable. Nor are the new sheets. Of course, considering the room still smells faintly of paint, it’s entirely possible that I’m the first to sleep on these sheets - maybe they just need to be washed? Plus - and I don’t know if this is the sheets or the mattress - the bed does sleep a little warm. No big deal this time of year, but I can see it being a bit annoying in July/August.
Time to hop I the shower and then stuff myself at Wicked Spoon!
Thanks for following along and all the kind words!
I only do $100 at a time. This slows down my play considerably - which at $5 is necessary if I want my bankroll to last more than the first night! I usually budget a certain amount to a certain machine (say, $500) and keep that amount in a separate pocket. Once that’s gone I reevaluate. When the luck isn’t with me, that usually means I drop down to a lower denomination or move on.
Great hit so far!
Keep it up.
New brand of bath products:
Don’t know if that’s good or bad...but they smell pleasant enough.
Love the funky wallpaper in the closet:
Just catchup up but I think I will just stop here cause I can't imagine it gets any better!
Fantastic!! Keep it going!
Started the morning ugly...dropped about $3k in no time flat. Starting to mount a comeback though
Photo dump from this morning:
Just got caught up......Congratulations on the Royal to start your trip! I really like the Cosmo renovations, especially the patio furniture.
Now I don't want to hear you complain your diamond shoes are too tight again lol
I don’t know if I “chose right” or if Wicked Spoon was just on top of their game this morning. Everything I had was really good. I’m not saying that WS isn’t usually good, but even the good buffets usually have a few losers that just end up taking up valuable real esatate on your plate. Not today though.
Standouts included the French toast, scrambled eggs, fried chicken biscuits and gravy, Udon noodles, prosciutto and fig flatbread, carrot cake and tres leches cake.
Only managed to snap a pic of the dessert course:
Dad finally had a little luck today, going on a decent run at the BJ tables. He’s still down for the trip, but well within the pain tolerance level. Me? I continue to hold serve. And while nothing terribly exciting has happened since the nice run last night, I’m still up big. Such a lovely change from last trip.
Not sure what the rest of the afternoon holds for us. But we’ll eventually start making our way toward Palazzo for a ginormous rib eye at Carnevino. Food porn to come!
Did I mention I’m running pretty good?
@ Carnevino. The farmer’s market cocktail (sweet-ish, tequila based drink), butter and Lardo, rosemary focaccia...
Kale salad, Kumamotos...
Ribeye for 2, mashed taters, Brussels, Amarone...
Separate names with a comma.
