So after my trip to the Quad last November, I get home and a month later I get a call from a guy saying he is my host. Strange to me off the start is he works out of PH. I have never played there. Any way so this May I email him and ask about coming out in November. He says to check back in July or August. Then I should have better offers. So the other day I email him about the same time frame. So that same day I get a call from a lady who is a casino executive and she is my point of contact. Is that the way the process goes. I have no clue if this is right, or from the get go I wonder why I had a host. I do not consider myself a High Roller much less even a high roller. Especially since they sold the Harrahs here in St. Louis. Should I call the executive back or just book online as I can get a free room to most the middle tier place on the Cet list. Or can she give me more?

    Thanks for every ones help.

It won't hurt to call her back. CET hosts (including PHo) work as teams. So most likely, this marketing exec works with your host's customers. She may end up only offering you what you can already get just by logging in to the TR website, but it won't hurt to call her. My advice, see what offers you have on the website first and then call her back. If she offers something more, take it. If she offers the same or less, ask why since you can already book that yourself. Good luck

Yeah that is kind of what I was thinking. It wont hurt to see what she can offer. Maybe it is more than I can get.

Executive casino hosts have offices in PHo. They can book all props.

Your "primary" host will never be available 7/24, so you will likely need to deal with a host-on-duty at some point during your trip.
For example, my primary host at the Aria works 8 to 5pm Monday to Friday, but if I need something after 5pm or on the weekend, there is always a host on duty who will help me, and I have gotten to know these "secondary" hosts personally.
It is also not a bad thing to have several contacts at a property, since casino hosts will change jobs if they get a better offer, and you will have some continuity at that property.

What my host typically does is get me a room one level up from what I can get on-line. It's nice to get a fountain view room with multiple floor-to-ceiling windows over the non-view room with one small window. Also the hosts, at least my host, can have oversight at any of the CET properties.

So here is the email I got back. I can book what she has booked for me myself. It is there for me when I log into the Cet website. She does't say what type of room either. I need to email her back and ask about that, so I know where we stand.

    Hello XXX

I reached out to you because my host
mentioned that you were interested in a room in Las Vegas and that is why I reached out to you.

I already reserved you a room at the Quad for 11/1 checking out on 11/6, I can comp you up to 5 nights. I also booked you under this offer.

Resort Credit in Vegas Enjoy 2 free nights @Caesars, Bally's, Flamingo, The Quad, Harrah's, Paris, Planet Hollywood or Rio (11/1-30), and receive $75 in Resort Credit!

You detailed confirmation is below for your reference. If you need to make changes please let me know.

    Sincerely,

Am I better off booking my self so I can book the room I want? Plus I wouldn't have to be loyal to one company in vegas

One of the things a host can do is give you more free nights than what is in the offer. But you should definitely ask what kind of room they can offer. Many times the host will upgrade the room, but the offer won't let you do that. One time I tried to upgrade the room online, and it allowed me to do that. Only problem is that it didn't give me the free-play that was attached to the offer. I called my host, and he handled it. Meet the actual host when you get there.

Thanks for all the advice guys. It looks like she did use one of my offers and upgraded the resort credit 50 dollars. 2 nights are free and the others are comped. I only get 25 in resort credit. It is the just a deluxe king room so I will car her like some have said and see if I can at least get the room upgraded as I can get a better room comped for the 5 days. I wont get the resort credit but I would rather have the better room . I will see what she says. Again thanks for the advice. Thing that really sucks is if they wouldn't have closed the Harrah's here in St. Louis I would be Diamond and not Platinum and this would be easier.
