Good question. From what I have heard the grounds still doesn't look all that ready but I know they moved their opening date up to next Saturday the 23rd. I will be in town and plan on going by to play some games and get some pics. Hopefully I take the time to do a TR with plenty of pictures.. if I do I will be sure to get some SLS action Saturday night on the TR.

It'll probably be solid being the new face in the crowd, but dj line up wise, if that's the A-squad, may have some problems vs the big boys on the strip.

Yes, that is their grand opening 2 week lineup. I'm biased towards deep dish since they were local to me in the DC area and their studio was in Georgetown (Yoshi Toshi).

Somehow I doubt SLS will be bringing back the Sahara's dollar shots with free shot glass, dollar hot dogs or dollar Miller High Lifes. Fond memories, but life goes on. I look forward to checking SLS out though. A nicer version of The Palms on the strip, even that far north, would be a pretty cool place to spend some time. When they talk about targeting locals though I doubt they mean full pay video poker at the quarter level.

did a walk thru on tues and looks good, not as flashy as i thought it would be. There are rumors already that SBE is already going to put it on the market to basically flip for another project.
