Quick question about The Fireside Lounge at The Peppermill Restaurant (located on The Strip... near The Riviera...).

I understand that this location has bartop video poker, and I've even read online that it has full pay machines (!). My question is, are drinks comped while playing these machines? I've tried to find the answer online but I get conflicting reports. Has anyone been there recently and played and can let me know?

    Thanks for any replies.

Yes, we were comped well drinks while playing VP at Peppermill in 2010. We had already bought a couple of drinks, but had been playing awhile, so we asked about "comps"---the gentleman barkeep told us they would comp simple drinks, nothing off their "fancy cocktail" menu, but screwdrivers, beer, etc he could comp. We were playing max bet .25. I do not recall the paytables, but we were having a great time and getting comp beverages sealed the deal to stay and play instead of going back to our hotel.

Played there in October and had a few Stingers comped while playing VP. I needed a nightcap after an evening of beers, red wine with dinner, Manhattan's, and more beer. But I made it to my trade show booth by 10:00 am.

Let me piggyback on this tread if I might...

For those veterans, does the lounge area get crowded very often from your experience? Would like to take the wife and hang out, but don't want wade through a herd.

VP at the bar sounds good. Any definite schedules? Have any of you compared this Las Vegas Peppermill to the one in Reno? I know the Reno is a big casino.
Years ago we loved the Peppermill in Reno. Eat and gamble there.
