Slots Penny slot hand pays?

When you get a hand pay on a penny slot are you betting max? 2-5$ per spin? I am assuming so just curious

 

I had a handpay for $650 at Wynn a couple of years ago while playing Lord of the Rings, I was betting $2.00 a spin at the time.

 

My mom hit a $1000 progressive jackpot betting 15 cents.

 

I won $1K at the Mirage on a 90 cents bet.

 

It can happen at a lot of different betting levels. I was playing a hot shot machine that had two bonus wheels on it and alternating my bet from 2.00 to .80..Went into the bonus round on a .80 spin when I won 1488.

 

I won $ 2,700 on a $1.20 bet, and no it wasn't max bet....I wish I was betting max so I could have won more

 

I hit $4500 on a .50 bet on a godfather machine. Funny part about it, while the bonus was going on I was explaining to my wife that I couldn't win the top prize because I was betting minimum. I didn't mind getting proven wrong too much on that occasion.

 

I got a $2500 jackpot off a progressive with a 50 cent bet. Depending on the game you don't have to completely max bet to get a jackpot but you usually have to bet over $1.

 

I've yet to get a handpay on a penny slot but fairly regularly hit progressives up to $900 or $1000. Typically on those ones I'm betting between $1.50-$3.00 a spin on max bet.

 

I have noticed at some machines they seem to pay our better at mid level better .... I call them cheap little whore machiness

 

I won a $3600 jackpot on a $1.35 cent bet on a penny machine.

 

Only penny slot handpay I have gotten (and I play a lot of penny slots), was $1200 on a $2.40 max bet on some random video slot at the Margaritaville. I have had plenty of $500-1000 penny slot wins though.

 

Only two handpays and I play a lot of slots. 1800 on $1 bet on Wicked Winnings 2. and 2600 on a 50c bet for Wicked Winnings 3.

Then again, I rarely bet more than $1.50
