yeah, very chill place, no casino or smoking...but also no drunk frat boys to deal with
since it's a "green hotel", the shower waterflow sucks and if you plan to use the kitchen to make breakfast or lunch you have to call HK for dishes and forks/knives/spoons to be delivered

otherwise great staff and a nice break at the end of the night or early morning to just get some rest, did you get a deluxe or corner suite?

I have a Panoramic Suite booked. Looking in my Mlife looks like I could book a 1 bedroom penthouse for about $50 more total for the 2 nights Im going. Is the 1 bedroom penthouse much nicer than a panoramic suite? Im driving so dont care about limo or all that crap. Thanks

Great place you will love it!
    Tips:
Definitely use the bridge to walk over to Bellagio for gambling and Crepes from Jean Philip
Definitely walk over to Aria for some gambling and Mexican food at Javiers
Use the pool at Vdara and try to get a cabana, totally worth it
Eat a quick breakfast at the little place adjacent to the lobby inside Vdara (lots of organic and healthy choices)
Have a drink and swing outside the Vdara bar

In addition to what everyone else said, ask for a high floor, Bellagio fountain view... Also, they just built a new Starbucks at Vdara at the corner of the walk-way to Bellagio. Enjoy!

I'll be a first time Vdara person in a panoramic suite as well. I am really excited to try it out.

Booked here for the end of September- first time in Vegas for me & a friend both celebrating our 40th's. Would love a good room, but my friend is afraid of heights and won't stay on a high floor. Are there any good rooms lower down that we should request?
