On my recent stay at Aria, I was checked in at the VIP desk by a nice guy and I told him I might need his help the next day when I was switching room types.

I did end up needing his help and things worked out fine, but here's the thing - the Aria front desk staff wear name tags with just a first name.

On day 2, this guy was wearing a different name tag than on day 1. I noticed and kind had a laugh with him about it.

I don't know how widespread this might be at other properties, but just be aware that if you have a hard time at the front desk and then later write about how awful (or great) "Steven" was, well...:evillaugh

This may or may not apply, but I have seen employees I know by name wearing a different name tag. The reason...they forgot theirs, but all employees are required to have a name tag at work, so they borrow one. This wasn't at Aria, just saying it is a possibility.

As said, they are required to wear them. There are some old ones in the back (Caesars) or they just borrow a co-workers. They are likely to get written up for it so it doesn't happen that often.

If it went from Steve to Stephanie, it could be something else.
