Many questions were asked during a Q&A Session, but the same answers were, "stay tuned", "well, maybe", "we don't know", "check back", "we're working on it".

But the one thing that they did answer as a definite is no more Double XP days.

After I deplete the LPs I have (and assuming I can find dates I can actually redeem), I probably will not play anymore. Not worth the time (and money) anymore.

I've had two good trips using rooms from MV, but the rewards are deteriorating.

I posted in another thread last week that it wouldn't surprise me if they did away with Double XP. Voila, here it is. As long as the chip purchases are being made with these never ending quests, there is no reason for them to make it easier to level up with Double XP. The game, in my opinion, is losing a lot of its appeal. Between this and the move to room rates (Aria) and the loss of other rewards has severely diminished my desire to play. Additionally these Q and As seem to accomplish nothing more than keeping players believing that better rewards are coming. How long have they been saying that rewards like suites and two night stays were being considered? Instead, they take away rewards . BLAH.

Many of us spent money on chips to support the game. Without the support of us who bought chips, the game would have been gone long ago.

There's no way they'll ever bring back 2 night rewards. They are getting more restrictive, not less. lol

They've got to do something about the 10k or less rewards, not let them count towards our limits or something. Many of us have used rewards over 5-6 trips and are now running out of things to purchase as we've used most rewards before (and not can't purchase again). After I purchase rewards for my October trip, I am done. There's no way this game is going to be around much longer. And if it is, it will be more and more BOGO's or $x off with purchase, compared to what we have had in the past. I feel bad for those who have played all along and have yet to make a trip. They've wasted their time....

I so totally agree. My girl and I have been there almost from the start and now what the hell is there to spend the LP on. Short answer is not much. A whole lot of shitty buffets and a couple of good ones, we have better comps than what we can get so why bother. The FP deal seemed good until you read the details, nope won't be doing that.

The sad thing is we could do the trifecta, like if it even existed. Bellagio Fountain songs, MGM wedding and WTF DJ for a few hours deal but wait what? Not available. so here we sit with 3M to blow and nothing to really blow it on.

We both just do a spin and collect strip now.

I believe that's where they failed, they were banking on chip buyers but got surprised by those who know the system.

I am amazed by the resourcefulness of a MV FB group I belong to. Some of them will do a 3 night Vegas trip almost for free.

All the power to them for the work they put in to working the system but in the end all of us are going to pay in one way or another.

In the OP's message he said no more double XP, does that mean no more double LP as well, when levelling up?
I believe there was double XP when spinning and double LP when levelling up?

We are coming out in 4 weeks and I have about 700,000 and my wife 80,000 LP , as we have never bought chips we have 3 rewards each and tbh don't know what to buy . We will probably not be back for a few years after this visit and like others will stop playing once we get back , its still stuff for free (which is good) but the free stuff is not worth the time anymore imho

Oh I know that they were never going to bring them back but they certainly have teased the masses listening to the Q and As with 'hints' that they might. Of course this was a ploy to keep those chip purchases going. I've redeemed some for my upcoming trip but, like you, I'm pretty much done.

Hand me that fork, I'm done too.

As I said in my original post, the rewards are so dismal now. I've only played since June 2013 (used MV room rewards twice), but even in that short time, I have seen the decline.

Have you seen the room rewards calendars? You can sling a cat through any of them and not hit a yellow date-box.

I really like the game, but if I am not benefitting from it, MV can kick rocks.

One exception, the always seem to have a Double XP event after initial rollout of a new game. Caveat, only when you play that specific game.

I guess I disagree with many of you about the game. MyVegas has exceeded MGM's expectations and its been a huge success. Of course rewards will continue to be devalued. They used great rewards to lure players in and now are backing off because so many people are playing. MGM isn't going to continue to allow thousands of free hotel rewards, suites, etc. especially if many of those players aren't spending money at their properties. The rewards are meant to supplement a vacation, not BE a vacation.

I don't think the game will ever go away, it's too successful. Rewards will continue to be smaller and more expensive. But hey, it's a free Facebook game. If I can get $100 worth of free stuff each trip for playing fake slot machines with fake money, I'll continue to do it.

I've never purchased chips and never will so maybe I am the exception?

From what the PlayStudios staff member wrote, DXP is gone and won't be coming back.

There is a new game coming out, China Mystery, so we will see what happens then.

I have to agree with you, it has been more successful than they thought it would be. Many have and want to use the game as a means for a "free" vacation and the corporation has protected themselves more to stop freeloading; even still I have seen some get pretty close to a free vacation.

My DH and I just spin and collect our strip these days as we both have to many LP's to spend on our trips as we are comped from a host to begin with ( we have never spent money on the game either). We found the only rewards of value to us are the restaurants and shows; we are comped rooms to begin with. Every trip we have managed to use the same restaurants between the two of us; if it's not available to me, DH usually can get it as it's a new batch for him. We go to Vegas 4-5 times a year and have used Tender, Rice, NFI, Mandalay Buffet, Monte Carlo $50 restaurant rewards numerous times as those rewards suit us best.

I suppose it's personal preference, if you feel the game has lost its appeal then I don't blame you for not playing. The masses playing will be thankful as it might be easier to pick up certain rewards. But I truly believe the game isn't going anywhere for a long time; there are to many that play for the "freebie" or discount they can get.

once they took Aria room away that sealed it for me, I got 5 nights in Sept between my wife and I and have currently 775k LP to spend but theres nothing that really stands out. So will stay at Aria and Gamble at CET props and Cosmo, Being from the East can only make it once a year free rooms make the trips managable, its the only comp I care about

All is not lost! But considering how frequently it's offered, doesn't matter a lot anyway.

This game is still good for someone who mgm would never dare comp a room too. Or people who want to go see cirque shows. I fit both of those things. After that, it's meh.

I will continue to play. It does help to supplement my trips. There are a ton of casino games on FB that charge money for chips and you really don't get anything. I think MY VEGAS will start looking more toward people purchasing chips rather than millions looking for a free ride. Hopefully if more people purchase chips we can get some better rewards, like the Tower or Penthouse Suite at the Mirage that they used to offer. Since I would be going to Vegas anyway, I woulld go for this! I think there are just too many people who are getting free rewards and not really gambling at the casinos to increase revenue, which is what it was intended to do. MY VEGAS was created due to the recession and now we are coming out of it......JMO ( don't kill me for it) LOL

Yeah, I'm a Boyd player so I get comp rooms/food anyway.

It was just nice to stay at some MGM properties that I never tried before. MV allowed me that free privilege. I think my top regret with leaving the game is I have fallen in love with MaBay and I know I would never pay full price to stay there. Although I have managed to rack up some pretty nice points this past year, so maybe good offers will come through and I can build on a relationship with MGM properties.

LOL, I hear ya. ;) I think those Q&As are a joke. They are heavily veiled PR snipets. ;) I can only take "Yes, we are working on it" and "Stay tuned" so much before I call bullshit.

The CEO of Playstudios was also the founder of Wagerworks. We all know how that turned out.... Maybe the game won't end as abruptly as Wagerworks, but the rewards are on the decline, and that's not changing. :)
