I've always booked Presidential limo and love the bottle of chapange they give on the way to the strip. I'm just booking another trip now, and I see that their website now says "bottle of sparkling cider"....did they switch to non-alcoholic beverages in the limo? Anyone take a limo ride with them recently who can confirm? Thanks!

Had presidential pick up 8 of my family members on July 5th, all the ladies were given roses and the limo had two bottles of champagne!

The website has been saying Cider for a while now but as of July 5th it was still champagne!

Oh, and lets use the term "champagne" VERY loosely when we talk about the stuff that presidential gives you from now on, ok? :evillaugh

Yeah they can't use the word champagne because it has not been made in the region of Champagne, France. Sparkling wine is then used but it's "champagne". I worked for a massage lotion company and they had a scent named "champagne and wildfruits" or something like that and they've been forced to change the label to "sparkling wine".

You are correct about the usage of the word, however it IS actually champagne, its just VERY shitty champagne, that was my point about using the term loosely (it's no Veuve Clicquot or Moet for sure) :)

It was "sparkling wine" when I used them in June. Good old bottle of Andre, which costs about $5 at the store. Better than having nothing though!

We used them on July 16th and had champagne waiting for us in the limo. When I booked in May it said cider so I wrote a note requesting champagne, but never heard anything. I was ready to give the driver a hard time about the cider and before I could he said don't worry, the champagne is on ice for you.

I think there was some talk around here about this a few months back. If I remember correctly, Presidential said it had something to do with teenagers booking limos for proms, so they changed the wording on the website. I guess they didn't change it back.

Well technically they cant really do champagne or alcoholic beverages, but since they have done it for so long and have the power they do they are allowed to. However they shouldnt have listed on website. When i drove for them there were 100s of times we would show up and its minors.

I just add the champagne in the box where I request our driver. I was assured that the champagne will be in the limo when I booked it last week.

Just got back from trip last week and was put-off by the switch to cider on the website. But when we got in the limo at the airport, it was Champaign as usual. No rose though

Can I ask, was this pre-booked or walk up service? Is their minimum still one hour? What's that hourly rate?

To get the champagne you do have to prebook. All limos technically are 1 hr unless deemed as a transfer.

Pre-booked roundtrip online. I made no mention of the cider/booze issue when I reserved. The reservation entitles you to one hour of time, both ways. Have fun!

I pre-booked online and had "champagne" back in May. Does anyone know if they include additional bottles if it's more than 2 people. It's always been just me and the GF. What if it's 4 or 6 people?

I have used them several times and didn't realize that you got an hour each way. I am going to ask the driver to stop at a liquor store on the way to the hotel then.

I booked round trip service through presidential yesterday via phone and the gentlemen taking the reservation asked if I wanted the cider or champagne..... Reply, make it 2 bottles of champagne please. He answered with "no problem sir"
He also honored the "web special" as the website was having issues. Not sure if the web special meant anything or not but we reserved a stretch limo(seats 6) for just my wife and I, with service to/from Mcarron with the champagne and rose setup.

Personally I'm fine in a cab (just get me to the casino FAST), but the wifeys love the limos so hey we gotta splurge somewhere right
