I starting playing at CET when I signed up for the Total Rewards VISA last year and have enjoyed the benefits with Platinum status, mainly the waived resort fee. I actually earned the tier credits for the following year to be platinum but am now with striking distance of making diamond on my September trip this year. This will most likely be my last trip of the year which will be for 5 nights and plan to complete the 2500 tier points for 5000 bonus the first night to cross the barrier into Diamond territory. Once this is done, I know it can take a day sometimes for the bonus to update, am I able to take advantage of any Diamond perks while on this same trip? Im not totally familiar with what Diamond gets you as Ive read some confusing posts on the $100 celebration dinner, but Im most curious about the 2 free show tickets per month. If I make Diamond on a saturday would I be able to get show tickets a few days later before flying back home? Thanks for the help!

once you make Diamond When you have 15k tier points you can get a Diamond card right away at the Total rewards desks and take full advantage of the perks right away.
You can get the two free show tickets that month and you can go to the Diamond Lounge and bring one guest.

If you are going for the extra Tier points where you get 2500 and the 5000 bonus you will have to wait till the 5000 bonus post to your account. You have to earn 2500 tier points in one day within a 24 hour period I'm not sure of the start and end times but it is like 6am to 5:59am so something like that NOT within a 24 hour period like if you earned your first point a 3pm you have 24 hours from that. So you should ask the Total rewards desk.

I was given the bonus pretty fast I think the next day or two days later. I was already Diamond so I didn't really pay attention. But you can see your tier points off any slot machine.

    Good luck and have fun.

Thankyou! I'm going to be more careful with the bonus points this trip as I ended with 988 points, thinking I hit 1000 because I thought my points I earned at the quad didnt figure in, but they must have. I forgot about the lounges, Ive never paid much attention to them since I figured it was out of reach but the bonuses changed that. Plan on hitting the Rio for some dollar bonus poker and finish the night on some 7/5 super times pay hoping for the best!

You should be able to get the free show tickets once your account is updated and reflects your new Diamond status. With the $100 dinner, I'm pretty sure it's for earning it the previous year. So if you earn it this year, you'll get that $100 dinner next year. Also, your Diamond status will expire March 31st of 2016.

I remember the first time we got to diamond. The TR booth gave us a hard time about wanting a card right away, saying it would be mailed to us in due course. We demanded the card right away to avoid certain lines and they relented. They definitely weren't the most helpful. MGM on the other hand has always given us our cards right away and congratulated us on achieving the next level.

I got my Diamond card right away and in my experience the bonus credits will show up by the next day. Keep track of how many points you are earning if you are playing in different casinos because they don't show up right away and it's easy to lose track if you don't know that. I ended up the night with 2,398 credits once because I didn't realize that the credits earned at the other casinos didn't show when I inserted my card so I thought I was further away. If in doubt, go to the TR desk and tell them where you've played and they can look it up.

I second that. The machines were a little quirky this time. I was going for Diamond, too, so asked at the desks as I moved around.

I third that. The TR desk was always happy to look up the points for me as I tend to gamble up and down the Strip. I was able to get my Diamond card immediately but I did it without the bonus yesterday. From what I saw this week, bonuses post the next afternoon.

Judging by the notification emails I got, they post at around 4:00 - 4:15pm Vegas time the day after you earn them.

To track my points, I enter them in an app on my smartphone before I leave the casino. If I return to the same casino that day, I am careful to not double account.

Since there's really no app for this, I used my shopping list one. Flamingo $543, Quad $87, etc. Not perfect, but it added them up for me.

The 1,000 bonus emails I get at about 3, the 5,000 at about 3:30, and the 10,000 at any 4. This has been pretty consistent for me from Harrahs Rincon.
