The best days of finding good blackjack games at every casino are a thing of the past. It's possible to find good blackjack games, but now we have to hunt for them.

The blackjack game at El Cortez is as good as it gets, however, it’s a low limit game. It’s rare that you’ll walk away from a session of $5 or $10 blackjack too rich or too poor. It’s a great game for a fun time but, if the pit bosses see you on an epic hot streak, they'll either ask you to leave or close the table.

When we were at The Cromwell the day it soft opened, we spotted a couple of blackjack games that paid 3:2 for blackjack outside of the high limits room. The limits were $10 on opening day, but have slowly crept up to become $15 or $25 tables.

Still, the possibility of a 3:2 blackjack game under $50 isn't too shabby for a Caesars casino. US Poker's John Mehaffey recently let us in on another excellent mid-level blackjack game within the Caesars family.

The game can be found at Bally’s. The $25 double deck blackjack game pays 3:2 on blackjack and where the dealer hits on soft 17. Unfortunately, we don't know if players can double after splitting (DAS). This is pretty good for a $25 blackjack game at a Caesars casino. The Wizard of Odds blackjack house edge calculator says the edge on this game would be 0.52% without being able to double after the split. If you can double after splitting, the house edge decreases to 0.38%.

High limits areas are usually where you'll find decent blackjack games at Caesars properties. Since those games are usually $50 and up, it’s nice to hear that there are some good games out there for the high-end middle rollers. As Vegas continues to change, we'll have to be diligent in where we can find the best gambling. Our eyes and ears are always open looking for the best bets in the casino. If you have a tip on a great game that you'd like to share just shoot us a message at [email protected].
