Has anyone played at the cromwell bacarrat. Their side bet is a little different that the usual tie and pairs. I was just wondering how bad the odds were for this side bet. I was betting it and winning quite a few of them and the payout didn't seem all that bad.

    thanks

The side bet is for the player or the dealer or both if you choose. I know for sure a natural pays 1 to 1. A player beats dealer by 9 is 30 to1 odds. A player beats dealer by 8 is 10 to 1. A player beats dealer by 7 is 6 to 1. A player beats dealer by 6 is 4 to 1. And a player beats dealer by 5 is 2 to 1. Anything less than 5 is no pay out, and you have to draw out these number (use 3 cards). If you're beating on the dealer side its the opposite of course. Hope that make sense, thanks for the help.

There is a small room off to the right side where there is blackjack and bacarrat. Not a very loungy feeling at all. It would do them wonders to put in a couch, coffee table, and bar there.

Sounds like the Dragon bet. It's a pretty standard baccarat side bet. Wizard of Odds has an analysis of it. The odds are not good (like most side bets).
