    Hey everyone,

Just giving you all a heads up. If you have a host, contact them and ensure your email address is up to date. If you don't have a host, either go onto the TR website or call the TR number to update. Please don't send me your email addresses, that is a workload I can't take on right now unless you are a current customer or I am working with you on future trips / your value is at the point to where you should have a host, etc.

The reason for this: Over the next year you are going to see mailed offers decrease at a quick rate. Email offers are becoming the most commonly redeemed, so over the next year or two we are going to start phasing out the bulk of mail offers and ramp up the email offers, as well as the new TR app. I don't think they are getting rid of them completely, but they will be rare.

Just want everyone to know so you aren't missing out on the offers you deserve!

    Thanks!

    Hunter

Great suggestion and I have already experienced what you mentioned. I got a GREAT offer via email that I used during my April trip that NEVER showed up in my online account.

I get plenty of offers via email. Nothing to update.

If anyone is even remotely thinking of getting something from a casino and has not shared their email address - shame on them.

Even the 75+ year olds that account for a good chunk of my local casinos' revenues?

I thought Total Rewards announced this like 3-4 years ago that they were switching from mail to email as their primary way of sending offers out? I've definitely seen my mailers drop from a couple a week to almost none a month a few years back...

Are they going to be actual offers via email? When I tried going paperless before, I would see tons of offers in my account and never got any detailed information via email. I got so frustrated I went back and requested paper offers again.

Probably are passing on either cheap rooms, buffet passes, or even nice meals. Or tournaments.

I'm registered online. Didn't have a problem with it at all. My brother couldn't register until he called and his birth date was wrong on the Total Rewards site so they fixed it for him. Maybe that's your problem too.

I get e-mails every day, and I still get at least 5 mailers every week. My mailman must think I am a degenerate! That doesn't even consider the 20+ a week I get from local casinos.

When we go away for a week and come home to a counter full of casino offers... can not imagine what our house sitter things.

It's funny. I've noticed that my email offers are much worse overall from the ones that I get when I sign into the TR's app on my phone or the website. I get things like $35 a night at the Rio emailed to me but I'm typically either comped up-front with specific offers or the rate calendar shows those properties as comp.
