I have a bunch of TR CREDITS, and my brother has some too...via Social Rewards.

    We have about $170 worth.

Can they be used for Drinks at Drais pool?

If not I imagine I can charge the drinks to out room at the Flamingo and them use the TR Credits to pay it off.

Some people say charge everything to your room because back end comps, you might get it comped.

However, I know my action isn't enough to get back end comps...so I would rather not charge to the room because then I pay tax on it - whereas I don't if I directly use TR CREDITS.

That is a great question, and I have heard conflicting answers. Does anyone know if you can charge back to a room at CP (or another CET property) from Giada, Drai's, or other outlets at the Cromwell? If so, you can use RCs when you check out even if the outlet is not able to process the RCs at the point of sale. Yes, this will cost you the tax.

If nobody has the answer...I'll find out on Friday.

I was just there last weekend and the lady at Total Rewards told me that I could not use my credits at Giada's or Drai's yet as their system was not set up... Don't know how true this was, but I had about $130 worth of credits I wanted to use.

Hey DonnyC, you have the ability to bill back any charges at Drais to your room bill. From there your host, or a host on duty, can use your reward credits to comp off charges in the amount of your credits.

I play too low for a host. But I guess the total rewards desk could use my TR credits for things charged to the room?

You don't need to have a host assigned to you or be at a certain level to go see the host on duty. They are usually located in Diamond Registration, and will look at comps for any customer. Honestly, I find some of my BEST customers that wander into Diamond Reg for comps that don't have a host but should have one.
