I was thinking about staying at CP in the future. I mainly play baccarat with an average bet of $300-500 per hand, more if I'm winning or chasing. Generally my average bet is near $500 for 3-4 hours per day on my recent visits.

I wanted to try CP out. How is CP in terms of comps for table players at my level? I have never played at CET properties before. This will be my first time.

Do you think I could get some sort of suite at CP? Are they more stingy than Wynn or Mlife towards player tables?

I exchanged a few messages with Hunter. He told me CP is more competitive. Also, he told me if I stayed at PH or Paris, he would put me in a suite. I prefer to stay at a casino where baccarat is lively with people. I'm assuming baccarat at PH and Paris is not as lively, but I may be wrong. Please correct me if I am.

correct about bac , at ph , parris is more lively its there second top tier casino then would be ceasars which would be the most.

as for a suite i have no idea. i never care so i dont get into that type of thing becuase rember everything has a value so the more the room comp you have to pay off, the less food , and other stuff you get so i always way whats more important to me thats just me.

hunter would be the only one who could answer and this just a guess its hard for him to throw in a suite comped up front a ceasars with no history ,maybe for one nite so he doesnt get burnt, i guess im looking at it from his poin of view right now.but one u establish history and prove u are a 300-500 for 3 hours a day , im sure its an easier thing.

i always said a host , customer thing is a realationship ,its a give and take and trust as im sure your aware.

    RiddickBull.

Caesar's is not far from Cosmopolitan. I would get Hunter to book you a room at Caesar's Augustus Tower. They are not bad. I stay in them and I'm ok with them. My wife actually likes them more than the Cosmopolitan. It has its own check in and Side Entrance and is pretty close to the HL Baccarat area. Your limit would be fine for the HL room for Baccarat. They do have the Best Dealers. If you don't like the room. You can just head back to the COSMO.

Baccarat is more Lively at CP.

I got the invite for both the Cosmo Tourments too but could not make them. Would have like to meet up to play a few shoes of Baccarat. Next time.

It has been my experience that CP is very stingy with the suites. Even with a host, a significant CL/average bet and strong historical play (including drop-in play), suites don't seem to be given out with a lot of frequency. And they still want you to use up your RCs before they'll comp off your cheeseburger from Munchbar.

I know they have some really nice ones, but I have to wonder what kind of action they would be looking for to get into them.

ive stayed in an agustus room fountain view very nice t ceasars , not a suite by any means but very nice, as i said only hunter can answer ur question and i think with more history with him or cet u will do better.
but just so u know paris just redid there hl room really nice , its not very big not packed so im noture what ur looking for, but ph my guess is not ur type.
im yet to see anyone in the hl room at the crowmwell and its very small.

thats my 2 cents for a sunday

Thanks for all the info. Maybe I'll stop by CP this weekend and play a few hours to establish a little history, like I did before playing at Cosmo.

I really like the Cosmo's room, but the baccarat is not the best; it's not lively. This is the casino where I observed the most non-camaraderie play in the HL rooms. I stopped by CP HL rooms a few times in the past and it was lively. I'm guessing it's more camaraderie there.

I go to Vegas Fri-Sun so it would be difficult for me to get a suite. Maybe I'll shoot for a normal NOBU room to check it out. That's no good about taking all RC before comping anything.

Will CET take my Grazie, Wynn, and/or Identity card numbers to see my play?

I am just going to reply based on my observations of room availability at Caesars, because I don't play at your level.

I think because of Caesars history, but also because of how it was built and then built upon, they do not have as many luxury suites available on any given night as other properties, CET or otherwise. I have no problem ever getting a room at Caesars, but when I check rates for suites, they are always off the charts high. I would never consider paying even half the rates they command or ask for in play for those rooms.

I just finished a stay in an Executive Hospitality Suite at Aria and the prices per night were:

    298 Mon
    298 Tue
    298 Wed
    350 Thu
    540 Fri

Caesars wants anywhere from $700 to a $1,000 a night for a room that isn't even on the same planet as that Aria suite.

I also have enough trips now that I agree that Caesars just doesn't seem to value table play as much as MGM, but it could be different in high limit rooms.

When I made good on my $100 dealer tip last night, the young-ish box guy at Caesars said "thanks for stopping by,", like I just drove over from Boston. The box at Aria had a much different reaction.

I agree with this. My play at CP is limited, but from that limited experience, they are especially stingy with the suites. I tried to get a room fro some friends next month and the best they would offer me was a standard room. I also don't like that they will use up your RC before giving you any other primary comps (a big reason I like the EC at mgm properties better). If you're tired of Wynn and Cosmo, maybe it is time to give MGM another chance (and promise not to use the shower this time :poke: joking)

If you have no history with CET I would strongly suggest that you play HUGE for one day only at CP to establish a high ADT/MDV. Ideally do this when you are staying elsewhere. Wait about 6-8 weeks. You will be impressed by the bombardment you get in the mail--they still give free play to table players.

It is very hard to get a suite at CP. The lower level "suites" at PH and Paris are small. They are not as nice as a regular room in Augustus tower at CP, though, which you will get easily. They will also pick up most/all food and bev (within reason, like not Guy Savoy) at your described level of play, but they don't "bring you in" at RFB, it is dependent on play on each individual trip.

The conventional wisdom states that CET doesn't take care of table players. It is true that table play earns almost nothing in terms of rewards credits and tier credits, and if you are a small player this is a problem. At your level where back end discretionary comps kick in, you will get more than you do at Bellagio or Aria for similar play. If you like the restaurants/rooms at CP, it can be a very good place to play. The Palace Court (HL) casino has a great atmosphere and busy baccarat tables.

Just curious, what is CP giving at this level of play that a player cannot get at Aria or Bellagio for the same level of play?

More room for food/bev/spa comps on the back end, plus substantial free play which mlife does not seem to give table players. If you are not using a lot of food and bev you are probably better off taking a suite at Aria

I'm a CET and MLIFE player and I've gotten better offers lately from CET. Each property is different. CP dose use up all your Rewards Credits before you can use Backend comps. but so does some of the MGM properties.

Always a good idea to check with your HOST at the start of your trip.

First time that happen at CP it was a shock to see all my Reward credits go to zero, but then I was able to earn more.

One thing I have notice that is a Big difference is you can NOT play at CET and the do not ding you. They look at your Average trips and not your last.

I think the MGM looks at your last trip to comp your next trip. That is a big difference especially when you are asking for Front end comps.

CET will more than likely give you more even if your last trip was a low ADT vs MGM.

I say play where you WIN the most money. Forget chasing comps. If you earn them you will get them. Just don't play longer or more that you are comfortable with so you can get a free room or Dinner. It is still cheaper to pay for it with your winnings then to get comped for your losses.

CET has exploded my online offers and Mailing so I might be back on with CET. I've gotten some crazy TITO with Free play and free cash and gifts.

I've actually been playing less so I think CET is really hurting and trying to get more players, but then I'm getting about the same from MGM too so I guess they both are trying to win players over.

its easier to get longer stays at cet than mlife , there more relaxed than mlife , 3 day at mlife no problem after that they become real picky and realy watch your play much closer than cet.

yes most of ur extras as a table player will come on the backend.

I haven't stayed at Geezers since 1989 or so. Back then I had a large credit line and really only stayed there. That is til the mirage opened. I have been there several times to see shows, eat etc... No play though as I play where I stay. No host. However when I was at the Wynn a couple weeks ago I went to a show there and met my friends host. she was very nice and upfront. Gave her about one hour of play or so (Won a lot ). Got an email from her asking me if I want to come in. Told the host what I would like upfront. Augustus tower 2 bdrm suite at least 1600 sq ft, come in RFB, seven star status or whatever its called, show tickets, golf, limo and I thought that was asking the world at least for my play. No harm in asking, right? After all, they contacted me.. They came back to my surprise with a yes to all. And 3500 in free play! And tickets to the Ferris wheel (who cares). Oh, also said they would register me in a huge tournament aug 30th if I wanted. Wow! I really don't want to stay there at all but im sure the room will be nice and the 3500 makes it even nicer. I will have to cxl Aria which is no big deal but just don't like Geezers. Please don't get me wrong as I know I am blessed and I appreciate that im able to go and take advantage of this. What I wrote sounds snobby to me but not my intension at all. Bottom line I cant get any free play out of Wynn or Aria and sooo surprised they offered me this at all. My reply to this thread is I feel Geezers is hurting and have become much more lenient with comps. So if I were you, and if I gambled I would ask for the world and take anything just short of that. I feel they will give you what you want as long as you don't want something for nothing. Oh, and obviously it is about your hours played and avg.

3500 in FP is a good reason to switch! As for the other reasons stated why CET comps are better for the table player, I guess I don't see how that is any different than an MGM hotel (except that you don't get to save your TC at Caesars if your play is large enough to warrant more primary comps). I also here what PP is saying about CET being more generous with longer stays, but that hasn't been my experience. Not saying he's wrong. Just that, at least for me, I have always been able to get five nights comped upfront at an MGM hotel without the host blinking an eye. But obviously, that could be different for others. For me, the FP they offer me at CET is not nearly enough for me to take the downgrade in room and services and amenities that I get comped at MGM, Cosmo, or Wynn. If they were offering me 3500 in FP, I would probably feel differently
