We're going to spend one day of our next Vegas vacation in Downtown Vegas and we were wondering if there are any decent shows in the evening downtown. The only rule is that it can't be a show with nudity because I am traveling with my wife and some female friends who frown on that sort of thing. Anybody have any suggestions?

I have seen Gordie Brown many times with everyone from my mother to teenagers. All have enjoyed it. The show is at the Golden Nugget.

Marriage Can Be Murder is a dinner murder mystery show that is good and the Scintas is a decent show also. Both shows are at the D and Goldstar sells tickets to both. I got Scintas "comped" (had to pay a $9 service charge) thru goldstar.

Just go downtown to people watch. That's always a free show! Just remember your plastic cup...I also recommend walking past Fremont East towards the Container Park. They do have a concert stage inside. It also appeared that the the places on Fremont East were busy on a Sunday night.

Gordie Brown at the Golden Nugget is a very talented guy. He's funny, does impressions and has a good band. The Golden Nugget was running a special in June. Tickets to their evening buffet and Gordie Brown tickets for approx. $32. We enjoyed both.

I saw a comedy magic show two years ago downtown. I think it was Mike Hammer. It was a fun show and cheap to boot!
