Does El Cortez still have the cheap roulette during the day?

    Seems like it was .25 a chip or some such cheap deal.
    With a $20 you had a nice stash of chips to last a while.

    It did have in October last year, hope it still does in Aug this year

    yes and no. On my last two stops there (December and April), there were times when they raised it to $.50/$2 from $.25/$1. Other times they had the $.25/$1. When they did have the $.25/$1, it was only on one of two of the wheels, the other 3-4 wheels had the higher min bets. Sometimes all four (or two if only one pit was open), had the $.50/$2.
