Coming in next week and staying downtown. Like to play black jack, pai gow, craps, three card, high card flush and JOB. Where are best places to play these downtown? Thanks for any help.

El Cortez has low minimum ($5 and $10) single deck blackjack with good rules.
Many folks like playing blackjack at The D and Golden Gate because of the dancing dealers. Both of these casinos also feature the Free Bet Blackjack game which I found to be fun to play, albeit a higher house edge than the regular BJ game you'll find at El Cortez. A weekend night at The D will probably see minimums of about $15.

I can't help you regarding pai gow, three card, or high card flush.

For both craps and JoB, I like Main Street Station (MSS). MSS offers 20x odds at $5 tables for craps. The Boar's Head Bar at MSS features 9/6 JoB. If you're a beer drinker, do indulge in the beers brewed on site while at the Boar's Head Bar. I enjoy the Marker Pale Ale, and they also currently have a sour IPA which was both tasty and potent.

Depends on what you are looking for. Do you want $3 tables? The EC has $3 bj and craps tables (not all the time though). The Fremont has $3 bj and craps tables most of the time.

3 Card Poker is available ANYWHERE downtown now. Only saw 4 card at the Nugget. Mississippi Stud at the Nugget and The D. Only high card flush table I saw was right inside Binions. Good blackjack at Golden Gate 2 weeks ago.

Best 2-deck blackjack downtown: El Cortez, Plaza & LVC. H17, DAS permitted. (Golden Gate & 'theD' also have this game, but at $50 min.) All of the Boyd casinos downtown & 4-queens are NO DAS for their 2-deck games.
If I recall correctly, the Nugget has the best shoe game (6 or 8 decks), allowing DAS, RSA & LS....I think that's a $25 table.

3-card is in every casino, all @ $5 min (except the Nugget, which goes to $10 on some of their tables at night).
4 Queens had Miss. Stud at $5 the last time I was there (March '14).
I've noticed Pai Gow most everywhere, but I almost never play it, so I couldn't tell you much other than that. When I have played, it was at the Nugget and it was a $5 table.
I have not seen high-card flush anywhere downtown, but I will admit that I rarely go into Binion's anymore, so it could very well be there.

If I may - try the 2-deck game at Plaza....usually $25 min., so the table is typically empty, or only has a player or two.
    Makes for easier math. :wink2:

There also a $15 DD game at the D upstairs by the Vue bar. Same rules as the high limit downstairs. This became one of my favorite spots to play last trip.

MSS is 9/6 at the quarter game. I think 4Q is 9/5 on quarters, but I know it is 9/6 on dollars.

MSS, 20x odds craps. Also, they seemed to have the best VP, even if they are old school coin dropper machines.
