We did the Cosmo one a couple years ago, but wanted to take some people this time if it's still happening.

And the Tropicana... $200 on us, or something like that.... how does it work?

Just looking for some promos on the strip.
    Maybe they are not worthwhile.

    Opinions??

The Cosmo one is gone, unfortunately.

The Tropicana one is still around and is a $200 loss rebate that is dispersed as $100 that same day and the other $100 in 30 days. I did the Tropicana one in March and will be back next week for my last $100.

Cosmo has definitely ended their promotion.

Tropicana was still advertising theirs everywhere when I was there a couple weeks ago. I forget how it works exactly, but you have to go back on multiple days to redeem the full $200.

I tried to do this last year. Played about even on slots, never even saw a cocktail waitress in the hour I played. Moved over to the Double Ball Roulette wheel and played there for a bit. Cocktail waitress shows up right away, but it took her 20 - 30 minutes to come back with my beer.
I took that experience as a "bad sign" and ran the heck outta there. YMMV

I too noticed that. I played for about 30-40 minutes on a single slot and never saw a cocktail waitress.

Thanks... this is the info I was looking for.
Not sure the Trop. is that great of a deal, especially since we are staying downtown.
