Does anyone know if Cosmo identity points expire like Mlife (once per year)?

I think they expire after a year but I could be wrong. Check with the idenity desk.

I was told they work on a rolling 12 month basis. Once you hit the next tier, it will keep you there for a year. One year later, they start tallying the points from the previous 12 months play and determine what your new level should be, and continues on that basis. If somewhere you had a large chunk of earned points, once it rolls off it could affect your tier level.

Cosmo introduced the "sterling" level and put that into place March 31, so for anyone at that current level, that is the anniversary I was told at the identity desk.

I actually way prefer this....as long as you play(earn) consistently, you can remain at a higher tier all the time, rather than spending some trips trying to earn your status back after the Jan 1 re-set!!!

If you went to Cosmo 4 times per year, earned 5000 points per trip, you would eventually hit Gold....good for 1 year. After that, the last 5000 points may fall off, but your next earned 5000 points gets you back to Gold. At CET, you have to re-earn the whole amount starting at the beginning of every year!

I finally received some clarity about it all. When you reach a higher tier you get an anniversary date. And it's that date that you have to maintain your tier. But progression to the next tier is based on the past 365 days. So right now I have about 10k points and my tier anniversary is dec 7. So I have until dec 7 to earn an additional 10k and if i don't I will go to Sterling as I would have earned at least 5k in the previous 365 days.
