Out of some of the off strip hotels, which one is your favorite? I thought Green Valley Ranch is really nice, but that is the only off strip hotel that I have stayed at.

Our favorites have always been RR and GVR. However we haven't been staying there lately because we're getting MUCH better offers from MLife props. We still get free room offers but not much else and I miss staying there. We also like M and have stayed there several times but we never seem to win there.

Red Rock. Nothing comes close as far as gambling atmosphere, comfort, and luxury

I also like Red Rock, great landscaping with the entryway fountains and west views. I also like the buffet for breakfast, never much of a line with generally good offerings. It is also going to become much more attractive when the shopping center opens next door and they complete the upgrades to the hotel.

Orleans. I like the gambling vibe, entertainment lounges, CW's and drink service (at the tables, the slot machine service is meh...). I also enjoy the dining options there.

Rooms are pretty good too, providing you're not too picky. It's easy to get free room offers from very little play. The Strip is relatively close with free shuttles to and from Bally's.

Stayed downtown on a solo trip in April. Bussed out to RR. I would love to stay there sometime. What a great place.... Top shelf all the way.

M Resort. We don't even consider any place else off-Strip.

Price needs to be part of this equation.

For cheap/value priced rooms off strip, we like Orleans.

For pricier off strip, we love Red Rock, and the M.

We've stayed at the Orleans more, because we're cheap more often--LOL.

For all of the same reasons Electroguy563 mentioned, we prefer Orleans. But based on the majority opinion here, looks like we're going to have to give Red Rock a shot soon.

I love Palms. Love the newly renovated rooms, great dining, fun casino, friendly staff, great service. Lately I've been spending a couple of nights there every trip.

Orleans. Always have been treated well and relatively easy to get free rooms for low-level play. Excellent variety of video poker, great live keno lounge, very good drink service and good food options.

And well done tagging it correctly. It's not the Wynn. It's not the Paris. It's not even the Ukraine. You get the grammar cocktail of your choice; send me the bill.

    Dear Grammar Boy,
You crack me up...........and you've touched on a pet peeve of mine THE This, and The That. lol
But I never said anything because, well........So many peeps do it. But you're right.
    There IS THE Hotel, though...........:ssst:

Back on Topic, I like RR, but M keeps wooing me back with tourneys that hit me at the right times,
where RR and GVR usually don't. So other than the strip, my only Off strip Go-To place lately is M.

Just got back from Vegas and had a two free night offer at South Pointe. Absolutely love this place . We also stayed at the Orleans - cheap or not I was not impressed we had room issues and took us hours to get it resolved. The casino was very smokey . Sorry to all you Orlean lovers out there .

We have played/visited most of the off strip casinos. We have stayed at South Point the last 5 trips. For us it is home. Everyone has a different comfort level. :peace:

I retain my crown as the VMB's sole Hard Rock supporter! For the most part, it's been my Vegas home since 2009.
