    Love my Crocs.

Last summer we stayed at South Point. Unbeknownst to me was that the pool area next to the side of the hotel can get to over 120° due to the sun reflecting off the glass on the building. We decided to lay out there and my Crocs flip flops shrunk.

I was chatting up the lifeguard and told her what happened. She said that Crocs can't be worn in Las Vegas due to the extreme heat.

Sometimes there are recommendations that are overly cautious.

    What about this one?

Crocs shouldn't be worn anywhere regardless of heat...haha

The title should say flip flops.

I am not a fan of the sandals either.

I'd look into some Keens, pertty durable shoes/sandles/flip flops.

I've had croc flip flops basically melt to my feet in LV in the heat of July. Was walking from Paris to Cosmo. By the time I got there, I needed help peeling them off the bottom of my feet. I've worn them in LV when it wasn't July and never had a problem. It depends when you go :)

+1. I bought my first pair of Sanuks on my last trip. Also packed my new pair of Nike Monarchs. The Nikes never left the room.

never knew Crocs made a sandal; then again, they do have a store at the Mall of America so they probably need a bunch of styles to sell
