ACG has a coupon for $5 in FSP for every 50 points earned (to a maximum of $100). I'd like to play some VP and then use the FP on either 25c or $1 slots at the same casino. Does anyone know if their quarter machines return at least 90% (on 3 x 25c per play), or if I'd need to go up to the $1 machines (1 x $1 per play)? Thanks!

Without playing thousands and thousands of spins you cant figure out the return...even then the true "return" is at infinite time

Look for a game with low variance...meaning the top jackpot isnt HUGE in comparison to the others. The closer the payouts are to each other...the lower the variance...albeit the lower the opportunity for a mega hit

Sorry...one other question: points are earned based on coin-in, right? So playing $100 10 times would count as $1000 coin-in and be recorded as 1000 points?

    Correct

and be recorded as 1000 points?

Only if its a dollar a point. There are all kinds of different schemes in different casinos.

That's good news...won't be using the safe-deposit box, then.

At the D each point is gained with $10 coin in. To maximize the coupon you are talking about, you would need coin in of $10,000. The effective cash back rate on this deal is 1% and is only good for a 24 hour period. It is a great coupon and will definitely generate future offers but a slot returning 90% will still result in an EV loss of $900.

Too bad. Just called the casino and indeed they want $5 coin-in on slots and $10 on VP.

$10 on VP for a point, 50 points gets you $5 freeplay. The coupon is worth 1%, and it's a good promo. If you played in on slots, it'd be worth 2%.

I didn't realize slots had a lower point requirement. The EV on this play (if you are on a 90% which there is no way of knowing) would be -$400. You then have to run the free play so actually -$410. It is a good coupon but slots are a losing proposition no matter how you slice it. Good news is that you would lose less than normal.
