Is there is no one to share getting excited about going along with you!
That and I enjoy eating with company, but that is a far second annoyance.

I wouldn't go so far as to say drunk....perhaps tipsy. A margarita lunch will do that. After shooting a 48 on the back nine!

I completely agree, especially in Vegas.

There is that fun excitement before a trip that is better shared!

That's why you share your excitement with everyone at VMB! Take us along with you by doing a live TR! You'll have more company than you thought possible.

When going solo I always share my excitement on here and also with a guy I know who is also a Vegas nut, although he is jealous when I'm over there and vice versa, I've just come back recently so it's his turn next in about a month

Guess I wasn't as clear as I could have been....and 48 is really terrible for 9 holes of golf, but it's all good.
I love vegas but I HATE getting there.

My trip reports in the past didn't go over very well. They are a tad repetitive as I tend to do the same things every day. And they are racy as I take part in lots that Vegas has to offer
I do usually have at least one surrealistic experience per trip that some people refuse to believe (I find that very amusing). So I gave up writing them. I'm a lousy writer anyway. Maybe if something more exciting happens I'll try it again :wink2:

When I go with somebody I tend to cater to their desires and sublimate mine. So I enjoy the trips both solo and with company. I do get a little sad on solo trips when I am reminded of trips with loved ones that are no longer in my life. I am friendly so, I have many conversations. My last trip met and enjoyed 2 AF veterans, who were very interesting, one a SAC commander. The other a Vietnam Vet very friendly.

I will be going solo exactly 2 months today, have 9 nights comped at the Aria. My kid brother could be tagging along this time but he cant pull the trigger untill he knows for defo he can make it and that wont be untill the end of June. Either way I'm counting down the days.
I have gone solo every trip but my first in 2009 with the GF who decided she doesnt want to go back so we have a 2 week trip in Cancun beforehand to keep her sweet.
I actually prefer going solo now, tried once to post a TR till my laptop crashed an hour into it and I gave up and went back to the casino.
I mostly play slots so being solo doesnt bother me at all, with the GF being a Vegi eating out is so much simpler on my own, eat what I want when I want where I want, glorious :evillaugh

I enjoyed your TRs because you're a craps guy like myself.

I've done several solos and I agree about the excitement. Most times I celebrate with the people at the table since when a hit roll is going it's very fun (as you and many here know).

Eating doesn't bother me because that's when I get caught up on VMB, the world outside of Vegas (that I always forget exists), and studying the sports lines and betting prices.

Next trip is going to be a solo the first weekend of the NFL season.

9 straight days at Aria? I wouldn't know what to do for a stay that long, especially if I have no business meetings.

Oh it's easy, get up when I feel like it fill my boot's at the breakfast buffet at Aria or Bellagio and play, play play some more. Grab a snack around 5 or 6pm maybe do some people watching at the same time then go hit the machines some more. I usualy see a show or 2 during my stays and spend at least a whole day downtown hitting the VP with much better paytables than on the strip.
I do a LOT of walking casino hopping, mostly Milf's as I dont get much out of CET tho i do like the pit in PH.
My host at the Aria has been good to me over the last few years, has never said no to me but then I dont realy ask for much over $250 F&B. Not realy a foodie and get most of my alcohol from CW's the rest I use my EC's.
I usually only get 1 visit in per year, managed 2 this year  and as my flight costs dont vary depending upon how long I stay and my RFB is covered as long as I dont blow through my BR too quickly i get to play as hard or loose as I please
I usualy pick 9 days so i can get 2 weekends in as I love the weekends in Vegas, everything get just that little bit more mental :drunk:

My solo vegas trip was the best trip I ever had. I don't mind eating alone at all. I will agree that I like having other people to get hype with though

Going solo is awesome. I was apprehensive at first because my girlfriend and I had such great times together. We still do when we go but she's not a huge gambler.

So when I want to get in some alone time being a degenerate that's when I fly solo. Doing what I want and at my own pace is so nice.

Guy trips are cool too but when the group gets too big you're always being pulled in different directions. So I try to limit them to 3-4 of us.

Understandable. I just hate spreading my BR for longer stays.
