Going to Vegas w/ hubby and group of friends this weekend. My hubby hates getting dressed up..let alone to go "clubbing"... what is the typical dress code at some of the popular clubs like Marquee and Drais? Long pants for guys I'm assuming?

    :nworthy:

I'd say a suit (without a tie), or a shirt & tie with no jacket. Some just do dress pants and a shirt. I'm sure he can get away with that.

If your going GA guys do have to dress a little nicer. Nice shoes, no sneakers, slacks with a nice button up shirt is the minimum. Simple black suit is nice with button up shirt is the way to go.

Button up dress shirt, nice darker jeans work too if he doesn't like dress pants, and black dress shoes. Seen plenty of guys get turned away because of the white sneakers.

What if it's a rooftop club in the Vegas heat (such as VooDoo lounge or Cromwell). Is the dress code more relaxed?

You're overall look and who you are with are more important than what you are wearing. I have never, ever been denied entry into a club in Vegas, and trust me I have been to them all, and I usually wear a stylish t-shirt, jeans, and white tennis shoes....but I look good doing it.

    Bingo.

    That's the least right there.

I've worn jeans, button up collared shirt (have worn a button-up collared polo; 3 buttons), and dress shoes.

All that other stuff is above and beyond. You can wear it but don't have to.

I have literally seen a couple dudes turned away with white tennis shoes.

I would never recommend it. They weren't even tennis shoes per se but Aldo/Skecher type shoes. I imagine had the guys had 3 women on their arm, they'd have got in.

A pretty girl on each arm would do the trick for sure.
