How long is this going to take - yes I know it depends on how long the line is at the rental counter - no I don't want to get any of the skip the line options at the rental counter (because I have 3 reservations at 3 different places) for a mustang convertible in-case 1 place is going to try to give me a Chrysler Seibring.

So we land at 1:50 on a Monday afternoon, flying in with Alegiant Air, have to pick up checked luggage and then take the tram to the counter for the rental car.

After that we are heading to the Golden Nugget...on average how long is that all going to take?

    Thanks.

Completely impossible to predict since you don't want to use the member cards and would rather wait in line. I'm a Dollar Express member and can bypass the counter. On a good day 1hr to 1.5 hr for us, but we don't need to wait in line. The car is ready to go. And btw, it is not a tram to the rental area, it's a bus.

I would say 1 hour is about fastest it could happen. Plan for 2 hours.

If you're not going to skip the rental counter and don't share which companies it's very hard to say. If you're renting from a big chain at the main center on Gilespie your time will be much less than an off site rental center. Mustangs seem more popular with Enterprise Holdings companies from my LAS experience. That being said I'll go with one hour and 26 minutes 2 seconds.

more than 2 hours. Safety figure 30 minutes for luggage, 20 minutes to rental car, 30-45 minutes to rental car taken care of and 30 minutes to GN in traffic, cause then your looking at after 4pm.

Bingo. Was thinking same thing myself.
Let's see - luggage, rental car, downtown and Allegiant on top of it all. Could be a long one.

    That's probably accurate...but too bad.

We were hoping to hit the pool which is only open till 5:00pm.

One of the major reasons we are staying there is for the hideout pool...which appears to be open till 2:00am.

But the Chart house has a great happy hour from 4:00-6:00pm.

Was hoping to hit the water slide a few times before the happy hour. Might have to forgo the happy hour - or pay full price for their 25 year glenlibbit, yikes!
