Helicopter Strip View in December

Thinking about doing the night time helicopter ride of the strip in December.

My concerns with being in December is the cold and wind if this will result in a "rough" ride.
Also, based on the web site it is approximately 12 to 15 minutes. Figure in take-off and landing and I figure it is really just a minute or two ride in the helicopter?

Any feedback?
Is December a bad time?
Is this a very short ride and is it worth it?

 

In my experience it is always windy in Vegas. The 15 minute ride is pretty cool, we got about 6 minutes over the strip I guess when we did it. I can't remember the company we went with as I didn't organise it I'm afraid.

Advantage of December - you can do a night flight at 6pm and not 10pm like summer.

 

We used Maverick Helicopters in February a few years ago and enjoyed it. It is a short flight but the view is amazing. We didn't experience any high winds.

 

We went with 702 Helicopters and video taped the whole ride at just over 11 minutes.
