I looked up the Cromwell under Trip Advisor and all 13 reviews posted so far have 5 stars with people raving about the impeccable service they have there. Apparently all of the employees are super friendly and positive and the drinks are great. I know it just opened and they could be trying to make a good impression but let's hope it sticks. So excited to check it out soon!

On a side note, I have NOTHING to do at work so the weeks are dragging. Vegas in June ahhhh!

I just got back and the reviews are accurate. The service is great and the caliber of employee is noticeably higher than most other casinos. I have a hard time believing they'll be able to maintain this but here's hoping.

Craps was $5 during the day on Tuesday but $10 in the evenings. It was shockingly uncrowded. We found 3:2 BJ at $15 and 6:5 for less. The 3:2 table was tucked in the back away from the main aisle.

The casino appears to be about twice the size of Bills and is very heavy on table games. I'd say more than 50% of the gaming floor space was table games so there are a TON of tables.

The decor is great. Dark with deep reds and warm lighting. It is a vastly superior renovation compared to the Quad. If the rooms and pool go as well as the casino, this will be a high in demand place to stay.

I am all about dive joints like Bills, Osheas, and Imperial Palace but this particular renovation was done right.

I completely agree about loving dive joints (something so fun about those atmospheres)..Bill's was great but I think this place will be fun. It's still kind of too bad though because there aren't a ton of dive joints left on the strip. The original Osheas is gone now. Most hotels are pretty classy on the strip and although I enjoy that atmosphere also, sometimes you want to have fun and not worry about what people around you are thinking.

I guess I wasn't as enthralled as most when I was there last week. It will always draw people because of it's location and service should always be decent since it's so small but there was really nothing there to draw me back.

We were there when they opened the doors at 4:00 on April 25th and thought it was beautiful and every staff member we met was really friendly. We'll be back in August and I think we'll give the rooms a try then.

I played DDBP at the bar; the usual craptastic 7/5. Very nice large screen machines and fast and friendly bartenders.

Do they have drink specials? I used to like the specials at Bill's as thats where the shuttle from the Gold Coast stops.

Just got back - stayed at Caesars (Octavious Tower) May 21-25 to celebrate my 40th birthday...

Cromwell is VERY NICE! All staff helpful and very friendly - no rude staff while I was there (on 4 different occasions; 3 different days). Let it ride was $5 minimum on Friday night but all carnival games (Let It Ride, 3 card poker, crazy 4 poker, texas holdem, etc) offered the $1 Million guarantee for 6 card Royal - as was the case in all other CET properties (ONLY).

Worth a trip, IMO, to check out Cromwell.

I thought going over a busy extended weekend would mean good drink service, but out of 15 casinos over 5 days, Cromwell was the only place with prompt drink service on the floor. Everywhere else ranged from slow to abysmal, even at Wynn. So Cromwell has that going for them. I'm waiting to read the room reviews in regards to club noise, though.

Wife and I stopped by on Monday during the day. The place is very nice. Stopped by the small high limit room and all the tables were closed but there were slots in there also. People were lined up next to the high limit room to go into the beach club. Ended up playing paigow there for awhile and everyone down to the cashier was very polite just like everyone has said.

Every taxi had advertisements about cromwell/drais on their tvs this weekend on a repeat streamed video.

Also, the sign that says "the bank" is the cashier. I saw the sign but thought it was referring to the atm machines when I wanted to cash out until a bartender told me it was the cashier.

We stopped by on Sunday night and Tuesday. It's very nicely remodeled and the staff we encountered were very nice. We played a very little bit, but the alleged great drink service alluded us. My overall opinion is that it's a lovely property and I'd go back, but I wasn't blown away by the vibe in there.

It was funny on Sunday being there as the Beach Club let out. Lots of trashed, sunburnt, scantily clad people stumbling around.

I too was impressed with the Cromwell. We got back today from a 5 night stay at Caesars and thought nothing more at CET could out do Caesars.....until we went in the Cromwell.. Very nice and polite staff that always welcomed us when we walked up to any table game. Hopefully the rooms can compare with the Caesars upper tier tower rooms.

Sounds like 13 Cromwell employees may have been on Trip Advisor lately.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and i would rate the Cromwell at 4 stars. It would have been 5, but one of the suits thought i had a bomb. I never realized having a stroke and being partially disabled qualifies you for the 10 most wanted list.
