    Hey,

Does anyone know how much leeway hosts at MGM/Wynn/Cosmopolitan/Harrahs get with freeplay comps (if at all?)

e.g. Are they able to issue freeplay outside of offers on expected theo?

All depends on your level...unlikely they will give you much over what the offer gives. I have never heard of anyone getting more than $800 in FP

hmm, that would explain a lot if 800 is the magic number...my host gave me $800 in FP + $350 in Resort credit for my upcoming trip to the Paris, I asked for all of it in FP and she said that she couldn't!

My friend got $3500 in free play from CET on a corporate offer. Essentially $3500 for all the offers (gift cards/etc). Kept coming in at the same amount until his last trip where I guess he played less and now his offers are much lower

My Freeplay/Gift Cards with CET are usually $800 to $1000. My host has never increased my Freeplay but has upgraded my rooms and given upfront Resort Credit and concert tickets.

$3500 total? or $3500 in FP AND $3500 gift card AND $3500 in resort credit?

If its the latter, say hello to Nate for me haha

My host at the Aria always comps my stay, usualy between 7-9 nights, in just a standard King Deluxe room but has Never given me any free play. :evillaugh
Im not complaining but im wondering if he is offsetting this against the cost of my comped room. Any thoughts?
He always picks up my charges at the back end, usualy less than $250, once gave me $250 in resort credits up front but now just picks my costs at the back end no quibble:faint:

MGM has clamped down pretty hard on gratuitous FP.

Thanks for the replies, sounds like I'm not alone!

Fine with RFB, but at some point I'd rather take $1k in freeplay vs getting crazy at dinner.

Though I have often gotten $1000 FP from MGM, and $500 from CET.... it is rare that a host will do anything other than corp offers for that.

    At least for me.

I'm gonna chime in here again...Here's the way I see it:

The free play/gift cards/room/suite comp is based on my past play (say last trip or so) and they assume I will play that way again, and what I do during that trip may or may not warrant additional discretionary comps on the back end.

My host tells me to charge EVERYTHING to my room and call her before I leave. I'm 3-3 on getting all my charges taken care of on the back end in addition to the 800 or so in FP/room/GC's that I'm comped upfront!

While my theory of upfront comps are already earned and discretionary are based on your play for that trip may not be true, it certainly feels that way!

FP or gift card. Whatever the offer was, it would be for $3500 until the last trip. I don't know what they rated him at, but our last trip they also comped him a 4br suite at PH with a see through shower in the living room which had a stripper pole in it.

They def over-rated him. We did get a bit crazy on the last night and played purple or yellow chips for about 1 shoe, but it def was not that high for any long periods of time. I think he lost around $15k (which was his first trip to a CET casino) so maybe they thought he was going to a bigger player than he actually is. We actually met the host when we sat down in the HL room the first night and he proactively comped him his room w/o any play and moved us to a 2br suite the next morning.

Mlife hosts can issue extra FP based on a guideline of max 20% Theo/10% Loss, whichever is greater...all depends on your level though.
