Planning a vegas trip for later this summer and going with a friend that absolutely wants to stay at CP. Looks like I can get pretty much any non-suite room comped in either the Octavius, Augustus, or NOBU tower. Which one do you recommend and why? I have never stayed in any of the three. Thanks

Nobu is a boutique experience. The rooms are small but have a lot of neat touches. It's not for everyone. There are a lot of similarities between Octavius and Augustus. Octavius has more electronics while Augustus is closer to the lobby and the street. Personally, I would go for either interchangeably.

Nobu? Think that is top tier....isn't it? I never get those rooms comped. Sure would like an update if you decide to stay there. Good luck!!

I've only stayed in the Augustus rooms. Good size room, comfortable bed (still doesn't beat Aria's) Kuerig in room, big nice bathroom. I had great view of the fountains but without the music it's kind of lame. Qua is in this tower and that was great. Went everyday of my stay but one. Negative is that it is pretty far from the casino. Double that for the Octavius Tower. It is only convenient to the pools and buffet. Can't comment on Nobu at all, but the rooms look small.

Personally, I don't care for Caesars casino, but I'm a slot player. Overall, it's just too big.

I've never stayed at Nobu. For me the deciding factor between Augusts and Octavius is view preference. Summer, Octavius for pool. Winter, Augustus for fountains. I believe the 'luxury' rooms hand nice views.

The big difference between Augustus and Octavius is the television size (to me). Octavius have much larger televisions than Augustus and better bathrooms. But Augustus has the views! Octavius is considered the luxury tower now. Nobu rooms are much smaller than either type of room, but very elegant. I know that Nobu is supposed to be exclusive (and it is), but I much prefer Octavius.

I wouldn't stay at caesars, but I have put friends and family up there with comps. The Augustus room was big, but not all that nice IMO. Octavius and nobu are better quality rooms with less desirable locations.

Location and view of Augustus makes it better than Octavius.

    Can't comment on Nobu

    Hey, UKFan :)
As large as you generally play, they should be willing to comp a suite. Based on the sq footage details on the website, the NOBU suites are on the smaller side compared to the high end suites at the upper tier MLife properties.

Take Augustus over Octavious. The walk to Octavious is dreadful.

I have stayed in both and agree with the information above. For me, it's about time to get to the casino so I choose Augustus. If TV, view, and room electronics are important, then you have something to think about.

Depends if your friend wants to be close to the pool. In that case, it's Octavius.

I prefer Augustus for the ease of walking out the Flamingo side door to reach the Strip. Your friend may not be totally comfortable, if alone. My bed this trip definitely wasn't as comfy as mine at home. That's the first time that's happened.

Nobu is more central. The rooms are small and not great views. I've heard this criticism before. You might end up on a higher level. Many nice little extras and great personal service. If you'd be eating at Nobu, it's right there. No in room coffee pot. Based on other requests, I expect they would have fast room service.

Unless your friend is used to or expects very large rooms, I'd chose Nobu.

Likely there is no wrong choice.

Uk, augustus and octavious are great in their own way. I believe engicedave is the only person who gave a review about the nobu tower and he loved it.

Never stayed at nobu but stayed in both augustus and octavious. I prefer octavious as to me the minor walk isnt a big deal and I think the bed and pillows are better in octavious. I could never sleep well in the augustus tower beds and the pillows were too soft.

But since the trip is in the summer, octavious is basically right on the pool.

Haven't stayed in Nobu but have had rooms in the other two towers, between those I would choose Augustus for the nicer view and because it's such a hike to the casino from Octavius. In the summer, my preference is still the premium room in Palace Tower because of the two bathrooms and the elevator opens right at the pool entrance.

I've stayed at Caesar's a few times, and have found each experience to be enjoyable. I've stayed in the Palace tower twice, once in a suite, and found it to be very nice. Has anyone ever stayed in the Forum tower? I've heard the Augustus and Octavius are both nice. As other's have mentioned, the Augustus seems most convenient to the front entrance and the casino.

Nobu is the old centurion tower which has been completely renovated. Rooms are very small and have no view though. Without going into too much detail the nobu customer service level is below ceasars as it's the first nobu hotel and they have no dedicated training department.

It's a hotel within a hotel. Run independently but ceasars do use it as an overspill when they are over occupancy.
