    Hello

New to forum and so far found it very helpful

4 of us travelling from australia and staying at the mgm for 5nyts for a mates bachelour party.. not really an affordable trip for us but its what he wanted so were all saving realy hard as this could well be our only trip here so want a good time.

Any tips on what we could do to make it rememorable ?

also find the pricing hard to follow

wet republic ? is that free pool party for guests ?

cobanas - weekend rental seems to be $600-so that means we have credit of 600 to spend on drink and food ?

    looking forward to the replies

weekend prices change depending on the weekends , so yes and no prices change. as to guys you will proably have to pay unless you take a cabbana or day bed

are u staying at the mgm , if so ask a conceirge to help you set up up what you need or contact a day club host.

also depends how many guys depends on what your minumuim will be

they will let you know the minum you will have to spend but rember expect an extra 30 percent on top of what ever your bill is for tip outs.

a good cabana on a saturday can 1500$-2500

heres there disclaimer about extra charges

Quoted F&B minimums do not include 18% auto gratuity, 4% service charge, 8.1% sales tax (10% L.E.T. when applicable) plus a security gratutity

go to wet rebulic web site ,

ask them for the break down and what you will get for daybead, lounge chair and cabanas and the miunim , for each that you have to spend rember to figue an extra 30percent on top of what ever they say.

thats a start so you can see what your budget is but yes if you do a daybed or cabana u will have a food drink minuim so basicaly you use that up and it should be free to get in make sure you ask.

not sure who the dj is yet that will determine the price they havent released august yet i dont think.

but start off emailing the club directly and get a feel for what it will cost

if ur staying at mgm see if they can work out just getting you into hakkksan at nite so your nite will be coverd

Received this from Thomas Gorman, host at Wet Republic for their 2014 pricing. It gives you a rough idea since everyhing is negotiable and it is all based on supply and demand. Events are holidays, big name dj's: Calvin, Aoki, Tiesto, etc.

    Hope this helps.

That $600 is probably for the main pool, the prices posted earler by day are what it will be for Wet Republic. My opinion if you're trying to save some money is for 4 guys you don't really need to spend the money at the pool/dayclub, just buy tickets in advance and grab a spot on the edge of the pool or walk around. 2 grand is going to get you a daybed only which will be "nice" to bring people back to, but that money would be much better spent at a night club for a table because nightclubs without tables are MISERABLE if you're a group of guys.

It might be worth it to try one of the club crawl for a night. I've never done it, but all the reviews that include them seem to be very positive.

Me personally for a group of guys and your looking for a pool you should go to Daylight. $600 is fairly cheap and not sure ow they got that figure for any daybed at WR. You can figure 1k minimum at WR. Since Pure is now closed the only really cheap nightclub on the strip is Chateau. Ghost bar or Voodoo might be a better option for you guys or even taking a night and going downtown, Gold SPike is a fun place and much cheaper than strip nightclubs.

Celt the $600 is for MGM's main pools not Wet Republic. Stayed at those last July and on the Monday we stayed it was $400 which was the food and beverage minimum for the cabana. That does not include gratuity and taxes.

I agree with sirdeez post as our group normally just does pre sale tix for the pools and walk around to catch up with other groups. We save the money for tables at the clubs. Personally I like Encore Beach Club for the layout and the service. For a great inexpensive cabana and has been fun the 3 times we have done it, Monte Carlo's pool. The executive cabana ($800 we did on Saturday last summer) is very cool, wife ad her gf's loved, and the pricing for all of their beds, cabana's etc can't be beat. Just call concierge and they will send you a pdf file with descriptions and pricing.

    Hope this helps.
