    It's excellent. Here's a review I wrote a year ago:

And yes, the $25 buffet allows you to order from the whole menu. You could start with a giant burger, then get beef and pork ribs, add some sides, order a smoked meatloaf, have some fried shrimp, and get dessert.

Agree with above. Best BBQ I have found in LV. This is real BBQ, real food, real people. The meat is smoked and portions are plentiful. This is a working man’s place. Don’t go expecting a fancy culinary experience. Pace yourself, you will probably want to come back again the following day.

Rollin' Smoke is the best bbq in Las Vegas. Try the burger, it is a delicious monster. Most visits, I get the brisket and pulled pork. Some days one is better than the other, but either are tasty!

Although the $25 all you can eat option sounds like a good value, I think when I ate there my BBQ brisket sandwich "combo" with sides and a drink was only like $9/$10 and very filling. So go for the $25 if you want, but you can get full on much less than that in my opinion. Also, when I went you could get a free mini dessert by checking in on Yelp (not sure if this deal is still offered). Either way, go there.

I'm going to try it in July for my 60th birthday. I've got a penthouse suite at NY-NY and I'm having what they call their "Big Man's" order delivered to the hotel.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Next blog post will be a review of Rollin' Smoke BBQ.

    Nutshell?

    I loved it.

I had a sampler plate of with two sides - way more than I could eat. I think the all you can eat would be overkill unless you are like one of those hotdog contest guys.

Easy walk to Strip. At least in daylight. 10 minutes from Wynn or Fashion Show Mall.

I was just thinking about that. I wonder if the cabbie would park the car and stop the meter if we asked him/her to join us if we bought.

I posted the review that's the first comment of this thread, so you know I love Rollin' Smoke. I also trekked out to John Mulls Meats a while back since I had heard such great things. And it was TERRIBLE. It caught me completely off-guard as I expected it to be at least very decent bbq (although I was sure Rollin' Smoke would take the win). I tried every meat offered and they all lacked smokiness. The ribs were dry and mealy, with no hint of smoke. The tri-tip was also dry. The brisket was passable, but again, without the smokiness I had hoped for. To make matters worse, the meat was very luke-warm. The sides were also completely unmemorable.

I'm not sure John Mulls Meats actually owns smokers. It tasted like the meat was cooked in an oven. And honestly, everything was a bit overdone. Once they finish making the meat, they put it into pans on their steam table. It did not seem like they warmed the meat up any more after that.

Imagine a really big plate of bbq meat where every meat is dry, not-very-hot, and lacking the bbq taste. It's disappointment in its truest form.

Is John Mulls the one that was on Guy's Fieri's show? If so, they showed that he boils the ribs and then just throws them on a grill with some sauce at the end.
