So... I am a regular in Vegas. Once a month or so. I have many, many years of a great track record with Wynn, Aria and Cosmo to name a few. I even got married at the Wynn. I play between 1800 and 2100 a hand for the 4 hours a day they ask for. I get suites, golf, food, limos, shows pretty much all comped. My question is.... What else should I ask for? Don't want to be a mooch or make my host feel I want to take advantage of them. I don't want something for nothing. Should I ask for 500 promo chips or 5000? Should I ask for a Villa on the golf course? Should I ask for a two-bdrm penthouse sky suite? Private plane or at least airfare? What else?

The reason I’m asking is they just don't give me things I have to ask for all of the above. I wish I didn't have to ask and they automatically give me the world. I DONT LIKE ASKING-BEGGING THEM FOR ANYTHING!!

By the way, I don't play for comps...

Tell you host exactly that. If they are going to comp you anyway, tell your host you want him/her to create the experience as you don't like to ask and it would be nice to have your meals/room service/transportation etc in place when you arrive.

The simple fact that you have to ask for ANYTHING at $2100 avg a hand tells me that your "Host", is not "hosting" you very well!

I'd shop around for a new host!

Airfare is a reasonable request, especially if you are going once a month.

Yes I'd ask for all those things except the private plane, you're not going to get that. And I'd ask for the 5k in promo chips or more, not 500 when that is only 1/4 of your average bet. That is if you know that they give promo chips in the first place. Ask for airfare or gift cards, some type of hard comp. Worst he can do is say no but at 2k a hand it doesn't seem unreasonable to ask like it would for me or most others. Especially given you go every month.

Shifter is back on the board so hopefully he sees this and can provide personal experience. But besides the private plane none of that stuff sounds like a big reach.

Thanks. I don't really know if the Wynn or Aria give promo chips or cash upfront? Also, for the poster who said im a troller? I don't even know what that means but yes I started out betting less years ago. (200 to 500 avg) For the past 4 years or so I've been averaging what I said. Maybe I shouldn't have asked this or posted anything at all. Im new to this. Sorry.

Read some of NateDogg666 TRs, he has some great insight in there on comps from Wynn and some MGM places. He has alot of data on how much you need to bet to get certain things.

You should also negotiate a loss rebate if you dont already have one.

Depends what you are playing, but I'd assume you could realistically expect 1500-2000 in reusable promo chips per trip if playing blackjack, or 3000-4000 in one use chips per visit. If you have a credit line, you should ask if you can get a discount if you go through it in one trip. The most important thing you can do is to spread your play around, instead of having a four day trip at one property, have two two day trips or better yet four one day trips at 4 different chains. The difference will be night and day.

I would suggest playing a lower end CET property, a MGM property, Wynn, and Venetian or a place like the Tropicana. If you do everything right, you can easily get 3-4x what you are getting right now in stuff.

I'd be aggressive in asking for things but quick to take no for an answer. If they aren't giving you what you want, there's a property down the street that might.

Went through similiar situation at numerous properties, from my experience its the host. Try this, contact Steve Cyr (independant host) he will get you what you have coming without asking. After using him ONE time the casino hosts stepped up their game.

sorry, bud, but at 2k avg bet at Wynn/Aria you're hardly earning enough comps to pay for all of those suites, golf, food, booze, etc that you're talking about.

you're not going to get any promos.

they want 500k CL for the Villas and you have to be at the 1M level for a private plane.

on losing trips, you should be getting AF.

    2BR suite isn't unreasonable, though.

but at that level, the size of your CL is more important than avg bet.

if it's not at least 50-100k, you're not even in the right ballpark with what you're talking about.

I assumed with a 2k average bet his trip bankroll would be around 100k, or 50 bets.

I know you some of you guys mentioned MGM doesn't do promo chips anymore except maybe for whales, but what about Wynn?

I tend to agree with you. 2k a hand for 4 hours a day just doesn't cut it for the Wynn, Aria or Cosmo. That's why I was asking what else if anything should I ask for. The accommodations which I mentioned earlier that I get are great but I don't want to leave money on the table. Also, credit lines mean nothing! I can have a 1m CL and play the same 2k a hand and still get what I get now.

2k per hand with a 1ml CL. That would be interesting

Im sure you can get airfare, 2 br penthouse, shows, spa and basically all f&b at that level.

Villas (pushing it), plane (no way).

As other ppl have said, read thru naatedog666 and shifters trip reports and posts about comps. Theres a ton of useful info in there.

At best if you are playing roulette you will be doing about 10000 theo a day, able to use 4k. So covers a nice suite, some nice meals, golf and transport. If you are playing BJ or slow squeezing Bac, your theo will be much lower. Wynn doesn't really do promos like the other casinos, I've also been noticing a general tightening of comps since the economy has improved.
