TR 5/7-8/10 The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!

The title of my TR refers to the slot play.... we did have a great time tho.

I really enjoyed the pictures along with your report.

Thanks for the info on Buddy V's and his bakery across the way.
We plan on going to both when we get there next month, as we're staying at Palazzo.
Italian pastries are my favorite of all the pastry food groups. :evillaugh
I'm thinking of getting his Italian wedding cake dessert when we go. If
I'm not too full, that is.

Nobody gets arrested for recording slot bonuses.
There are thousands of videos on youtube and elsewhere, as most of us know. It's great advertising for the slot manufacturers as well as the casinos. A win/win situation. I appreciate you posting yours.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience in the MC Buffet, we eat very often there - and sure it's not Bellagio oder so, but still it was always very nice. And I like the drink bar were you can get us much as you like...

But glad beside some minor things, you had a great trip! Thank you very much for your report!

Enjoyed your tr! You mentioned you brought the kids 5 years ago, when they were under 10. Where did you stay that trip? And was it fun to have them along? My kids travel with us a lot, but thats the one place I haven't brought them....so of course they ask all the time. I've thought about bringing them once, just for something different. I would want them to see some shows. But I am leery of exposing them to what goes on there!

 

Enjoyed your TR and the pictures, except the KISS-asses, I keep seeing those asses every time I cross the street down there. LOL

Cocktail waitresses are excellent sources of legal information, that's why they are bringing drinks on trays to people. Arrested?... I highly doubt it. :evillaugh

Thanks for sharin' your trip!!! And ditto on the anniversary congratulations!!! If you'd like to take your teens to Vegas... take 'em... don't let the vocal minority "kid haters" here on the board dissuade you in anyway. HAVE FUN!!!

 

Thanks all. We did have a good trip. Of course nobody likes losing but ... we all know that you don't go to Vegas expecting to be a millionaire when you leave. Although it would be nice! We will be visiting the local in a couple of months so there's always next time.

Ardee: I would've loved to have eaten more goodies at Carlo's but we had just eaten breakfast. I took my cannoli with me and ate it later after our Miss Kitty win inside the Venetian. Now I wished I had gotten a larger one! And about the recordings...grrrrr....I've never had anyone tell me not to before. Some of my videos are really shaky because I was trying to stealth record after that!

CVG2LAS: Yes, we brought them when they were 8 and 10. We stayed at NYNY and my parents came along too. You can probably surf some of my posts from back then, I have a TR that I put up here from that trip. It was a lot of fun. I love looking back at some of those pictures! My kids didn't come home scarred in any way so I think as long as you are choosy and responsible in where to take them and what to do with them then you'll be fine. I would've never taken them downtown at that age tho. As teens...we will take them there for a few hours. I think they would get a laugh out of all of the weirdness!

Flusher: haha...yeah I took a picture of the asses and sent it to my mom for a laugh. There was a lot of butt and junk jiggling going on....I was like wtf? She texted me what is up with those nuns in the background? I said "ma, look closer...those nuns have their boobs hanging out" She said "Oh for goodness sakes!!!" haha she thought it was quite hilarious, as did I!

Smartone: Thank you and we will. Our kids are good kids with good heads on their shoulders so I'm not worried about the effexct a couple of days in Vegas will have on them. I was 16 when I went the first time and I'm just fine......
