Vdara- how long of a walk to either Bellagio or Aria casino?

I currently have a room booked at MGM, but I just saw an offer for Vdara that is really tempting me. I like the look of the room, the fact that it's non-smoking and that it has a little kitchenette. But my main concern is how far is the walk to get to either the Bellagio or Aria casinos?

I think Vdara is a tremendous location for anyone who can stomach a 3-6 minute walk. Ok. I am a fast walker. Very fast. But I am out the front door of Vdara and into Aria in less than 2 minutes. I have walked from the gelato stand in Aria back to my room in Vdara IN THE SUMMER and my gelato is intact.

If you have ever stayed in Bellagio Spa tower, you are not all that much farther to Vdara. Just up the escalator and then through the walkway.

Heck. If you had a corner suite in Aria, you JUST may have a longer walk to the Casino than from Vdara. LOL

    Some links to help you

You can't take the tram from the Vdara to the Bellagio. The stop for Vdara is at the Bellagio. Taking the tram to Monte Carlo from Vdara might make sense. I probably wouldn't take the tram anywhere else.

Don't bother with the tram unless you are taking it from Vdara/Bellagio to Monte Carlo.

Walk to Aria or Bellagio from Vdara is minutes. I personally loved Vdara. Before going there I was a little worried about not being in the action once I stepped out of the elevator but after staying there it wasn't a problem at all.

Thanks all. I think I might give Vdara a shot since I've stayed at MGM a few times before.

I'm not worried about the walk during the day but I wanted to close enough to either the Aria or Bellagio casinos that I could consider walking it after dark alone.

Google maps should help. What's too far for you?

Dude, google maps really doesn't help with walking directions to/from Vdara.

To the OP: check it out, we really liked it because it was quiet and not crowded. The Bellagio conservatory is about 5 minutes from the lobby. The pool area is a little small, however.

Either walk after dark is easy and fine. Done it many times.

The staircase down to Harmon and Cosmo is less inhabited but have done that one, too.

I know. Am I the only one who thinks it's lol That OP is concerned about the walk from Vdara @ Aria to Aria and Bellagio?

Further to the point, does anyone know the distance from the bed inside the room to the window? Tram that shite or wha?

Vdara is a fantastic hotel! The easy access to The Bellagio, Aria, Monte Carlo (tram) and Cosmo (via Harmon) can't be beat.

I am not concerned so much about how far I will have to walk to get to the Strip as as I'm pretty fit BUT I am a woman and I'll be alone so after dark I want to be able to get to a casino without walking real far.

The walk to Aria is out in the open. The walk to Bellagio does go through an isolated bridge but it's short and people can't really hide there. I would say you're safe.

Relax. People ask about this stuff all the time. How far from THEhotel to MB, how far from MGM to Signature.. It's all good. That's why this message board is here!
    ______

I will also be headed to Vdara later this year and surely spending a lot of time at Aria/Bellagio. My wife cuts out of the casino early and knowing she will have to walk back solo from property to property has crossed my mind. I suppose I'll just have to escort her back to Vdara... ah the things we do for our wives! :blowkiss:

  19. trams? christ people don't any of you walk? I love walking up and down the strip.
