Tropicana has been trying to get me to come over and play there for awhile. I never really took them up on it because the casino isn't my kind of crowd or atmosphere.

My host there just let me know if I were to come in for my next trip- and keep in mind I have minimal play there, but very good play around town and the country- he would give me $500 airfare up front, $500 freeplay, 2-story penthouse with 3 beds (for a week), $100 F&B a day, and comped bottle at Hakkasan on Thursday night. This is an offer I cannot refuse.

I usually come with $10,000 bankroll so I am by no means an ultra High Roller.

I would guess Tropicana is kind of "going all-in" because they may be desperate for business. Just and FYI I thought I'd share with the community that others may get offers like these if they contact their host at Tropicana. I have a great host there if anyone needs a recommendation (assuming you have good play).

I stayed a few times at Tropicana after the remodel and then quit staying a couple of years ago when I got a new host who was useless. I have been assigned another new host and he is wonderful. Stayed a couple of nights last week and will be staying again 3 nights of 7 at the end of the month. It does look like they are making a conscious effort to bring back some players.

Nice offer! I don't think I've ever seen an offer that includes bottle service at a top club. Even crazier given the club isn't on their property. So that and the airfare are pure cash comps which are pretty generous. Depending on the rate for the penthouse, you're probably getting upfront comps worth half your total bankroll.

How many days does your 10k include? I've got 12k set aside for my next trip, but that's over 6 days

Maybe I'll take a couple grand over there and try to get on their radar

Also curious about your game(s) of choice? I would guess you are a VP player based on your avatar, any slots or tables as well?

Wow. Those are amazing comps. May have to give them a call. I do not have a host there, though.

My trip is for a 7 day stay. I haven't even put any real play there. But my host verified my play at other properties. If you wanna give it a whirl just call em and ask. It never hurts.

I went last April (2013) to the trop and my comp offers has not changed. $400 FP (100 a night....hate that BS), $100 dining credit, 2 tixs to Laugh Factory, and 4 night stay in best class accommodations (whatever the hell that means)

I was going to go back, but when I found out my host left (wish I knew what happened) Joanie Robinson, I just didn't care to go back. She was a awesome host and was setting me up with Penthouse suite and a big birthday party, but I had to cancel at the last minute. A new host had reached out to me, but I told him I wasn't planning a Vegas trip till the summer of 2014. Guess I will have to call him up and see if he can do better than the comp mailers I have been getting. I honestly was thinking about going off the strip this next trip. The bulk of my play is slots and I'm tired of tight slots on the strip.

FYI, my only trip to the TROP I had a avg bet of $250 BJ play and lost over 5k on slots. I took 2k cash and had to pay a 6k marker back when I got home. I only stayed 3 nights.

Tropicana isn't part of the Trop Empire?

I have a "Trop Advantage" black card... I just called Trop LV and learned, through a weird interaction/call, that the Trop LV is not a Trop property. Weird/:thumbsdown:.

If you mean connected to the one in Atlantic City, no that is no longer the case. Hasn't been for a while.

That's an awesome offer. If you don't mind, what is your average bet and what game?

trop is giving great deals and dicounts and rebates for locals.

there trying to wooo all locals to make the trop there home base with amazing offers.

im sure with my play elsewhere as a local they would give me my own tower but im spread all over at this point between cet, mlife, palms , and i throw a few to hardcock and boyd a little.

i cant eat and see that many free shows.
i think as a local there offer 20% rebate back plus discounts on food and other crap.

I have never seen a The Trop so busy as I have the past 3 days. Checking out tomorrow and heading to Cosmo but The Trop has treated me very well. My host came down to meet me as I was leaving registration, nice touch!

I do play there on occasion but there is something about the casino that just feels 'weird' to me. Can't describe it, but it just feels 'wrong'.

Trop was my very first place I ever stayed in Vegas, 2010. Was there 4 nights and didn't spend a single second on the casino floor. We are staying there one night next week in a club spa suite and that might change.

I agree. I wasn't a fan of the atmosphere, especially since I am younger and the casino seems to cater to the older crowd. But I can't turn down an offer like this.
