How is it in Vegas during Halloween? Is it a good time to visit?

I went to Vegas last Halloween. The strip was lively and I enjoyed it. The best part were the girls wearing skimpy costumes.

    Enjoy.

I go every Halloween. Weather can be unpredictable, but usually nice. Sometimes windy. Life Is Beautiful Festival downtown had driven up prices last year and this year. Lots and lots of things to do, and one of the best times of the year for people watching.

I went last year for Halloween. The best people watching spot is right outside of Carnaval Court. Met some locals that go to that very same spot for the past 5 years and they love it!

If you go and dress up, make sure not to wear any masks inside the casino. Even excessive face paint is banned at some casino's during Halloween.

It's fun, now I can cross it off my bucket list. :rolleyes2:

We also go every Halloween, not so much for any festivities, but to avoid staying home passing out candy to the little beggars. Besides, if we stayed home, we'd buy approximately 100 pounds of candy, give out a dozen or so pieces, and end up eating the rest. It's much better on our wallets, waistlines, and teeth to go to Vegas. The weather is usually great, too.

It's the best time of year that I have been. Downtown is absolutely rocking. I'd go there instead of the strip.

Every year i go to the Fetish and Fantasy halloween ball. Halloween has gotten bigger here the last few years and there are more and more parties. I think the FFHB has 12,000-14,000 people. ITs usually windy and chilly for halloween so wearing costumes is alot nicer. LAdies running around in skimpy outfits and some just body paint. Ifyou dont like the busy time like NYE, MDW,LDW then Halloween is the next best time.

    Lots of people
    Lots of drinking
Lots of women dressed up as sexy this and sexy that
Bars that can be closed off usually have parties going that you have to pay admission to get in
Clubs will have parties going on with high ticket prices to get in
It is going to be a Friday night this year so I would expect it to be extra extra busy

I did my first Halloween in Vegas last year and it was pretty crazy, I went Downtown and it was a great night, went to Hogs and Heifers and ended up in Golden Gate

I guess too, that its a Friday this year: that means all the casino Halloween stuff will actually be on October 31st. If Halloween is mid-week (Sunday to Thursday) then the casino bars and clubs and all that will do all their Halloween stuff the Friday and/or Saturday before.

Personally I just find it weird when all the parties and people in costumes and all that are on the 25th and 26th and not actually on the 31st.

Life is Beautiful is the weekend before Halloween this year, so it should be 2 busy weekends in a row downtown. Rates are a lot higher the first weekend, so I am assuming that will be the busiest weekend. Both should be good though.
