I feel like I've stayed just about everywhere on the strip. Caesars, Hilton(before it was lvh), riviera, aria, cosmo, monte caelo, ballys, harrahs, quad, mgm, and treasure island

yet I somehow have never stayed at the grand daddy of them all........The Bellagio.

No idea what it is but it just seems like the stars never align to stay at bellagio. Hell my upcoming trip is at Treasure island and Harrahs.

Seems like the group of friends I'm in always has other hotels lined up other than Bellagio. Even on my solo trips, I could never bring myself to pay for bellagio. Rather just stay at the quad or riviera when solo.

I can deal with never having stayed at PH(though I would love to stay there), The STRAT , paris, corcus circus, excalibur, luxor, and new york New York. I just can't live with the fact i've never stayed at bellagio. I would love to book Bellagio for October but i bet caesers will comp me or one of my friends and bellagio will once again be an after thought.

I swear one day in the next couple years I'm gonna finally stay there. Gonna have a fountain view and everything. This is like my absolute vegas bucket list type of thing. I must stay at the bellagio. I kinda had a fountain view at cosmo but just wasn't the same to me.

So what hotel in vegas have you guys just not stayed at and it's kinda killing you?

My Aunt Greta thought Caesars Palace was true class. Caesars was the only place she would stay in Vegas from the day it opened. I used to visit and gamble there a lot and have always wanted to stay at Caesars, but it was never priced competitively. Shortly after the Ha$$ah takeover, I became disenchanted with the casino because of policy changes and stopped visiting it altogether except for a special event like a concert.

Never stayed at most of them downtown. No particular reason, just never have.

Ditto for Trop, Hooters (no desire to do so), Excalibur (ditto), V/P, Mandalay (too spendy and out of the way), Bellagio (more reasonable options in same neighborhood), Palace Station.

Never stayed at any Boulder Strip place, but played at Sams, Boulder Station, Cannery.

Never stayed at Orleans or Palms. No particular reason.

+1 for Bellagio. I spend the majority of my time here for their poker room, so it would make sense to stay there at least once.

    Bellagio for me too!

My favorite place to gamble, yet their rooms are so expensive, I can't justify spending ~$150 a night when MLife always gives me comped rooms at Monte Carlo or NYNY.

Red Rock - every time we plan our trip we can't bring ourselves to stay off the strip.

Same here. They're by no means luxurious but you can almost never beat free. Now I might pass up on free Excalibur or Circus Circus but I'm all in on NYNY and Monte.

I haven't stayed at Bellagio either, but I'm not really inclined to do so. I thought I was going to stay 2 nights there in April, but I had to cancel my trip. Got a good room rate though. :(

I've been in the rooms there. They are lovely and quite comfortable, but I feel priced out at most of their restaurants. :)

Red Rock is probably the one I want to stay at the most, but never seem to make the time.

    All the nice ones

Realistically, I would love to give Mirage and Aria a go sometime, maybe Caesar's just to say that I did. My problem is that I go to vegas 4 or 5 times a year, for a weekend or 3 days max. I kind of view the room as a crash pad, so I can't personally justify spending more than 250 or 300 on a room I'm only sleeping in, with weekend rates to boot. If I were to spend 5 days or more, and visited once a year, I would totally go for the swanky stuff.

I feel like I'm not ready to stay at The Bellagio or Wynncore. I don't have "help" that I refer to as "the help," and I wear glasses instead of a monocle. I just need to stay someplace near an ABC store so I can grab a tall boy for $4 when I need a roadie. For you tea-drinking fancy-pants powdered-wig aristocrats, a "roadie" is a road beer, a beverage consumed whilst walking the strip. And "walking the strip" is what we pedestrians do when the limo is late. Oh my, it really is hard to find good help these days.

    Great thread, Jameezy!

For me, it's the Bellagio as well.

I was close to booking once, but just didn't "bite that bullet". But I always vow I will some day.

I have been wanting to stay at the Venetian ever since my first trip to Vegas when I was 21. I went to Tao, and walked along the Venetian interiors while enjoying the benefits of energy and newness that come with being so young. I love the Venetian and everything I hear about it. I want to stay there one day, when my job finally puts me on salary.

Although, now that I'm older and have experienced more of the strip, I'd like to stay at the Bellagio too. The decor is gorgeous and so bright. (So long as I'm remembering the right hotel... I don't always trust myself.)

Wolfman, the Mirage has some decent room rates now and then that aren't bad. I was there last year and paid $79 for Fri/Sat nights. Not too bad and the hotel is nice and comfortable. If you see my ass laying around, let me know. I lost it in their casino somewhere. :haha:

Because all our friends now have kids, we don't do the group trip anymore (going on 8 years) and have to stay at a hotel (Paris, PHO, Mirage) acceptable to all parties. My wife is somewhat of a hotel snob so we have limited our recent trips to the The Hotel, Four Seasons, Aria, Palazzo and the Bellagio. A logical place for us to stay would be the Wynn but for some reason neither one of us have had any compulsion to stay their. I think in part is that we have found a home at MB and they treat us right.

Bellagio isn't as Hoity-Toity as you think! They've let me stay there!

The one place I would like to stay is Encore but I always end up at Wynn because I like the Double Queen Rooms.

I never get to stay at most of the strip hotels. I usually spend < $50 a night (including taxes and resort fees) for a hotel room so that usually cuts out most of the strip rooms. For me, I would rather spend the extra money on gambling or other things (strip clubs, lol, lol) since I only use the room for sleeping. Other than sleeping I don't hang out in my room much.

I was lucky, I stayed at MB a couple of nights for free (amex offer years ago) and have stayed at lower end places like IP, 'dust and Flamingo (think I forgot a hotel or two but that's about it) but with the renovations and resort fees it doesn't look like I will stay on the strip much.

Motel 6 over by the airport. :( Just feel like I've been deprived.
