I just got off the phone with Aria and wanted to share this tidbit of information.

The bottled water that is in the room, IS NOT COMPLIMENTARY. Even though you are still charged a resort fee.

The small bottle of water goes for 5.00 and the large bottle of water goes for 8.00-10.00 the representative told me. She did say there is a gift shop that sells water for less money.

Many of you might have known this, but I just wanted to share, in case others did not know this. Maybe this will prevent someone from having unexpected charges on their bill.:)

Since my husband and I have enough LP's we will be booking Aria through Myvegas anyway. Sounds like a wonderful hotel and I am sure it is a BIG step up from some of the cet properties that I qualify for comped rooms.

It would be much, much cheaper to walk to the CVS next to Monte Carlo (you can go through Aria's casino to Monte Carlo without ever going outside and then cut through the MC Casino to the Strip). You can get a case of water for a few dollars and keep it in the room.

I have stayed at Aria many times and I love it. I am sure you and your husband will love it too. Have fun!

I don't think it was ever stated that the bottled water in the room at Aria was free with the resort fee. The most recent info that I know about their resort fee is that it includes:
    - Wireless Internet
    - Local and 800# calls
    - Fitness Center
    - Local Newspaper
    - Business Center (Boarding Pass Printing)
    - 2 Welcome Cocktails per stay

I think this is not included, or at least not anymore. Here is what is listed in the FAQ on their website:

Does ARIA Have a Resort Fee?
There is a $28 (tax inclusive) daily resort fee which is inclusive of access to the Fitness Center at The Spa & Salon at ARIA, in-room wired and wireless internet access, wired and wireless internet access throughout the ARIA campus, in-room local and toll-free telephone calls, daily newspaper at Elements (with last name and room number) and airline boarding pass printing (at the Business Services Center, Concierge Desk or internet kiosk).

You can get FREE FIJI water playing tables (11.5 oz size). I order it all the time playing poker. When I'm wrapping up a session I'll always ask for 2 and the never had an issue with it.

I've stayed at Aria three times and I am pretty sure every time there was a 3x6 or maybe 4x8 card in front of the water and other snacks that say they are not complimentary.

Thank you all for the replies. I appreciate it and I'm sure others do as well.

And walking to the CVS is a very good suggestion, forgot about that one. LOL

What prompted this post, was when I was at Monte Carlo last Oct. the water in the room WAS complimentary and there wasn't any card or anything saying it was. When I checked out of the hotel, I asked, and then was told it was free. My fault, I should have asked earlier. LOL

    Thanks again...

Vegas or elsewhere, there is some uniformity to what the resort exaction brings, but it does of course vary, so it's always a good idea to ask.

Or, since it's only water, just use the stuff provided in the faucet at no extra charge! :evillaugh

You were just not familiar with the fact that the stuff (water, boxes of nuts, etc.) that sits on a shelf outside the actual minibar is still either on sensors or inventoried by housekeeping.

    Chuck,

Yes, I was aware that nuts, etc. were part of the mini bar, but alas I did not know the water was part of it as well. Now, I know. LOL

And, asking questions is how one stays informed. Thank you for your input.:)

    Kindly,
    K9treatbaker
