I have a couple of free nights at the Orleans. My husband can not get any free rooms, but he can get a discount.
My question is has anyone done this? I have Fri & Sat comped. We were thinking of him getting Wed & Thur at his discounted rate.
Also what are the chances of staying in the room whithout checking out & then back in?

Just to give you one more confirmation, Ms. Gecko and I have done the same thing Jukie describes many times and will do so again June 1. (We each have two free nights.) Also, if your offer(s) includes food credits, they may be combined over the entire stay, not just for the nights associated with the offer.

Another confirmation on this from me. My wife and I have done this on numerous occasions. Have fun!

At a couple of the Boyd/Coast properties we've done this same thing, the hotel people call this a "stay-over", where your two separate offers are booked back-to-back in the same room. You "might" have to physically go down to the front desk, and check out in the morning when the first reservation ends, and then immediately check back in for the 2nd reservation (the stay-over).

It's actually simpler than I'm making it sound ....

We too just did this in March. At Orleans, we did not have to go down to the desk to re-check in for my 2 days. However at The Fremont, we did.

On the last night of reservation #1, I have made of point of going to the front desk, and paying for all charges up that point and also including those (if any) for the upcoming night. I think this makes the transition to reservation #2 the following morning even smoother. I don't even have to think about it then.

My wife and I have done this many times. She has two free nights and I have two free nights. When you check in make sure they couple your free nights
together so that you don't have to switch rooms.

Done this a few times, desk has always sorted everything out on check-in for us so have never even needed to touch base with them between one reservation and the next.

Have been staying at the Orleans for about 10 years now and have combined my comp offers with my wife's everytime. Just let them know at check in and all is good. Also never paid resort fee on comped rooms...have a great time I know I will.
