My wife and I will be staying at Circus Circus and are just wondering which will be best method to get to the middle of the strip. From what I can tell it looks like the Deuce would be slightly cheaper for the both of us (we are staying for a week) but will be slower and could be crowded depending on the time of day. The monorail will be faster but it looks like the closest station is the Sahara Station, about how long of a walk is that from Circus Circus? Thanks for all your help!!

    The Deuce.

You will board it out front and its just a couple of minutes until you are there.

WIth the monorail you would have to cross The Strip and then work your way to the Hilton or Sahara stations, both of which are actually very long walks (almost on par with walking to Mirage)

Take the Deuce. It's not even a close call. You'd be dumped off of the Deuce in front of Caesars before you even walked to the monorail station from CC.

You could probably walk from Circus to Caesars faster than walking to the nearest Monorail stop and taking it to Flamingo and walking over!

WIth the deuce you can also take it to a stop that has the sdx and hop on that if you want less stops.

We were there for 9 days and bought the bus pass for 15 days (from the SSTT). With how far circus circus is from everything and not having a car rental that sounds like your best bet to be honest.

Will you have a lot of luggage? You can take the 109 south ($2) (only 1 or 2 stops) to the SSTT and then buy the 15 day bus pass for $34 at the machine by the bathrooms then take the sdx North until you get to the stop closest to Circus Circus that is a shared stop. We had 2 big suitcases (1 each) plus a backpack and managed just fine without any problems. We had more stuff on the way back so we then took a cab, but i do not regret in any way doing it that way, saved us a ton.
