I haven't been to Vegas since 2008 (insane, I know) but I'm going in June Can't WAIT. Does anyone know if the Goldfish & Jackpot parties are still found at a lot of the main strip hotels?
Since you're zeroing in on slots, you may want to visit slotfanatics website. Goldfish and Jackpot party still continue to be popular, you'll find them scattered around. Goldfish 2 is popular too.
I think you can go to the Harrah's website, and do a "slot-finder" search for a specific game at the various CET properties. My wife used to have good luck on the Jackpot Party machines.
I hate that 'Jackpot Party'. Once I was playing blackjack and the machine was right behind us, the volume was way up and that damn 'party horn' sound was going off all the time. I now loath that sound effect! Funny table/slots story at well: Last week I was playing Ultimate Texas Hold'em at 4AM on Sunday and the casino was basically deserted, and this guy from Switzerland kept freaking out every 5 minutes when the (idle) Wheel of Fortune machine sings out: "Wheeellll oof Fooortunnne!!!" He would jump up and ask 'Who's Yelling??
LMAO that's awesome. Actually..I think I remember Jackpot Party being LOUD. I hate when slots are ear piercing loud!
I found a Jackpot Party in the Margaritaville casino and played a $20 in memory of my mom. That was her favorite machine.
That's very nice Were you lucky? Is the Margaritaville casino on the strip next to Magaritaville (Is that a stupid question?) I didn't know they had their own casino.
It's technically licensed with Flamingo, but yes there is a mini beach themed Margaritaville casino next to the restaurant. Here you can get frozen margaritas from the waitresses while playing as well as a Margaritaville themed Total Rewards card, which I prefer over the standard card.
No, I was not lucky but I was hoping at least for a Party Bonus which of course was her favorite part! It was still nice to play and remember her.
