We are thinking about replacing our old Polaris pool cleaner with a smart robotic pool cleaner (as opposed to buying the newer version of the same type of pressure side cleaner). Does anyone have any experience with these cleaners? We have an in-ground pool (16' x 36' x 7' deep) with steps and sunbathing deck below the waterline.

    Thanks!

I have nothing of value to add, but I wish I had the task of finding a good cleaner for my pool.

lmao! Post a pic of you in a bikini and I will research pool cleaners for 3 hours and find the best one for you. (Totally serious, stuck at work today and have absolutely nothing to do)

Kelly, we went through a few Hayward robots. Can't say I was a real fan, mostly because of mechanical problems. Now I will say our water was quite hard. Settled on a Baracuda, which worked out well; I know, not what you're looking for.

We were getting ready to flip to salt … then we moved.
