Alright what clues do we have about the latest MyVegas mystery that the last challenge was all about.

New slot game?

Double XP / LP day?

And when will this take place?

Takes place or begins tomorrow I believe (email kind of indicated such) - quite probably double XP for a day imo.

Last night it said come back at 10am PDT to find out the surprise.

 

I never actually bothered finishing the quest and my bad the email I thought mentioned it I can't find now so am thinking it might have been an in-game message that basically said congratulations in the community achieving the goal and to enjoy the game today before the event begins.

edit "Wheew! Ya’ll came together just in time to unlock the Mystery Event for the weekend! Here’s some free chips to get you warmed up for tomorrow!" - this was the in-game message as posted by another user on another thread.

My email had a 5000 chip link to start the day off "tomorrow" but did not list a time.

 

Do you have to finish the challenge to get in on whatever the "bonus" will be? I never do these challenges anymore. I just hold out for double XP days or play blackjack when I get bored.

 

5X chips when you "Level Up" for three days. How disappointing.

Dear oh dear ... lame doesn't describe it really. Oh well, at least it will help those on lower levels like my other half so it's not all bad.

Did you have to finish the quest yourself the mystery bonus?

or could have you just profited off the other players finishing the first half of the quest?


I did it the quest about an hour before it ended and finished it with 750k more chips than I started.... but well; probably shouldn't have done it...

will go back go my quiet 'collecting' phase for another couple months

 

You certainly didn't have to finish the quest to benefit, I didn't and my next award says it is x5 ... not that I'll reach it by the 28th and therefore I won't actually benefit myself (unless the games are incredibly kind to me).

Who knows what counted toward the 'completion' of this Community challenge though ... was it only those that fully completed it or was it everyone's efforts added together no matter how far through they managed to get. I guess only those that run the site will ever know that.

5X level up reward

Has anyone leveled up during the new mystery event? Do you get 5X LP or just 5X playing chips?

 

5X playing chips. Bummer, huh?

 

Just 5x chips. Pretty much worthless. One of their dumber quests if this is their "big" prize.:Þ

5x LP, now that would be worthwhile.

 

Haha this is ridiculous, I didn't complete 1 single card/task and got a message ''congratulated on completing the challenge''.. feel sorry for the people who played for 4 days..

 

the challenge would have been completed no matter what. even if nobody played the first quest, they would have still given the same lame reward and made it seem like some big deal.
